Around 9 years have passed since Yuuya has been
reincarnated, and he has gotten pretty used to how life is in the
magical world. You see, when Yuuya got put into 3 bodies, his
consciousness got split into 3 bodies. The first body, Yuta, has
around fifty percent of his consciousness while Ryosuke and Arata
have around twenty-five percent of Yuuya's consciousness. Cool
right?
Anyway, one day, Arata wants to play with his brothers,
"What should I play?" Arata says. Arata thinks for a second.
Suddenly, a lightbulb appears over his head, "I shall play hide and
go seek!"
Arata opens the front door and dashes upstairs, almost
running over Alice, the family's maid. She had bright yellow hair
and glasses that seemed too big on her face, "Watch where you're
going. You almost knocked me over." Alice mumbled. "I'm sorry!"
said Arata. Arata turned around and continued running down the
hall. Alice couldn't help but smile at how much of a good kid Arata
is.
"Who should I ask first?" Arata asked himself. He decides to
go and ask Hana (his sister) even though she most likely is busy.
She was. "Hey Hana," asked Arata, "Can we go play outside?" She
turned around from her desk and looked at him with a no, I'm
sorry we can't. I'm busy with work right now. Kind of
expression. Coincidentally, those were her exact words. Arata
looked at her with a sad expression, but his attempt to make her change her mind failed. Arata slowly walked out of the room
devastated because his sister was the one who usually says yes to
his requests, unlike his brothers.
You see, Hana is a musician and makes lots and lots of
money from doing so, which is why Arata's family lives in a
mansion and has servants. Because of her profession, her family
puts her above her brothers.
This kind of makes Arata sad. Arata cheers up and decides to
go to Yuta's room next. Yuta is the one in the family that is
invisible, mainly because he doesn't stand out much. Yuta doesn't
talk when unnecessary, he isn't hyper, and he mainly has his head
in a book. Arata's chances of Yuta saying yes to him were low, like
in the ground.
"Hey Yuta-"
"No."
In an instant, Yuta has already turned down Arata's request.
"Uhh, I didn't get to finish…"
"I know, you were about to ask if I could go play with you
outside, right?"
Yuta turns his head to look at Arata. His blonde hair blowing
in the wind while his apathetic black eyes weigh Arata down.
"Y-Yeah…" Arata answered, "But why can't you play this
time?"
Yuta sighs, "Well, if you really must know," Yuta said, "I'm
studying quantum mechanics." "Quanation melonics?"Arata
confusingly asks Yuta. Yuta sighs, "Quantum mechanics are
basically how atomic particles exist and how they interact with
each other." "How is all that fancy stuff more important than
playing!" Arata pouted. Yuta looks at Arata with a braindead
expression. "Are you serious?" He asked.
"Oh, how did you know that I was gonna ask you to play?"
Arata questioned. "I knew because you come in here nearly three
days a week and ask the same question but just a different game.
Last week was hide and seek, and the week before that was duck
duck goose." Yuta answered, "Now please leave me be so I can
continue on with my studies." Arata leaves Yuta as requested.
Yuta sighs, "That guy is easier to read than a book." He thinks to
himself.
Lastly, Arata goes to Ryosuke's room. He knocks on
Ryosuke's door, "I'm coming in." He says. Arata enters the room
and looks around him. The room is dark, gloomy, and has a bunch
of shelves and blood on the floor. On one of the shelves, Arata sees
a jar full of eyeballs. "I think I might catch a virus if I stay in here
for too long…" Arata thinks to himself. "Umm," Arata exclaimed,
"Ryosuke?"
Suddenly, a door opens, knocking stacks of paper down. A
man in a hazmat suit walks out. He seems to be holding a cage.
The man then puts the cage on the desk in the middle of the room
and lights a candle. "You're gonna be the perfect lab rat this
week!" The man said nefariously. "Uhh," Arata says, "Ryosuke?"
The man turns around and takes off his gas mask, "Yo Arata," He
said, "What do ya need?" The man's (Ryosuke's) face was covered
in sweat, and his orange hair looked like it came straight out of a
washing machine. "I was just wondering if you wanted to play
outside with me." Arata asked. Ryosuke lets out a sad sigh, "Sorry
bro," He says, "I gotta dissect this little guy!" Ryosuke opens the
cage on his desk and takes out a mutated rat. Arata looks with a
horrid expression. "What is that thing?" Arata asks shockingly.
"Hmm? Oh, this little guy?" Ryosuke exclaimed, "His name's Bob!
I did a few experiments on him, so that's why he looks a bit odd.
But! He's still alive and ready for more! Right Bob?" Ryosuke
pokes at the rat. The rat then releases a mighty shriek and
proceeds to go rabid. "Not this again Bob…" Ryosuke
disappointingly says.
Bob eventually jumps out of Ryosuke's hand and heads
straight for Arata. Before he could get any closer, Ryosuke took a
book and wacks Bob. "And I thought you were being good today,"
Ryosuke says, "Just for that, you're not getting any treats. Better
yet, I'll experiment on Trinity today." Ryosuke picks up Bob and puts him in the cage. "Sorry bout that!" Ryosuke turns around to
Arata. But to his surprise, Arata had already left. "Hmm…"
Ryosuke says.
