After the teleportation, both Elaris and Gureus are confused about what did their son just did, they vanish from one place and transported to another.
"What in the world happened?" ask by Gureus
"Kizuya... Kizuya did something" said by Elaris
"Is it true Kizuya?, Tell me the truth!" scold by Gureus
"I'm sorry father, it was all my fault I was an outcast... I'm sorry I tried to save you both from danger... I read a fantasy book about magic in the school so I memorize it because I know it will be handy in some situations" Kizuya confessed
"I'm sorry for scolding you son, I... I'm just really worried..." apologies of Gureus
"With that settled may I ask where we are?" Elaris asked. "It looks like where in the middle of the forest"
"Monsters roam around at night and here is such a danger place, I will try to make a place for us to stay... It will take long though, as I make our home you two can explain to each other" Gureus said
"๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ธ... ๐ข๐ต๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ด๐ต ๐ ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฏ'๐ต ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ ๐ฎ๐บ๐ด๐ฆ๐ญ๐ง" Kizuya thought
"Kizuya, will you teach me magic too?" Elaris gladly asked.
Three years have passed Kizuya is now 8 years old. While he and his mother learn powerful magic in both offense and defense his father trained swordsmanship infused with magic Kizuya thought him.
They established a sanctuary where the practice of magic was permissible. Within their secluded haven, they dedicated themselves to the dual pursuits of refining their magical abilities and honing their skills.
Kizuya and Gureus embarked on a journey of innovation, crafting a unique combat style that seamlessly melded swordsmanship and magic. They christened this technique "Magic Swordplay." However, the secrecy of their sanctuary bound them to keep this formidable art hidden from the outside world. They were resolute in their decision to share this knowledge with no one beyond their haven's protective borders.
Harnessing both their magical prowess and their mastery of Magic Swordplay, they effectively defended their home from the relentless onslaught of invading monsters. The creatures that dared encroach upon their territory fell swiftly before their combined might.
"Kizuya! Could you lend me a hand with these tree trunks? I plan to craft a training dummy for combat practice," Gureus called out. "I've also managed to procure venom from some wild toads. You mentioned it could help mitigate magic damage, right?"
"Certainly, Dad. I'll be right there," Kizuya replied. "You can apply the venom to the tree trunks. It will help preserve them during your magic swordplay training."
"Thank you, son," Gureus acknowledged.
"Kizuya! Don't forget about helping me with the cleaning. I can't quite reach the higher parts of the ceiling. It's your father's fault," Elaris chimed in, a playful argument in her voice.
As the whole day passed they went to sleep and wished to wake up into another peaceful morning.
"Mom, Dad have you felt the earthquake last night?" Kizuya asked.
"What earthquake?, I think your room upstairs is kinda wobbly so that's why" Elaris answered. "๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ช๐ต ๐ฃ๐ฆ, ๐ฉ๐ฆ'๐ด ๐ข๐ธ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ช๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ฐ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต?" Elaris thought.
"How about you Dad?" Kizuya asked.
Gureus spit take his hot cocoa.
"No no I didn't feel it, not at all he he he he" Gureus answered.
"Strange" Kizuya said.
The day's vibrant hues faded into the horizon, giving way to the cool embrace of twilight. Kizuya's heart raced with anticipation as he stood by the entrance of their sanctuary. A subtle breeze rustled the leaves overhead, carrying with it a sense of excitement and adventure.
"Are you ready, Kizuya?" Gureus's voice carried a blend of encouragement and caution.
Kizuya nodded, his eyes shining with determination. "Ready as I'll ever be, Dad."
Elaris stepped forward, a small satchel slung over her shoulder. "Remember, we're not venturing far tonight. Just a bit deeper into the woods to familiarize ourselves with the area."
The trio set off, their footsteps quiet against the forest floor. The canopy above cast elongated shadows, creating an almost surreal landscape. Gureus led the way, his sword glinting in the fading light, while Kizuya and Elaris followed closely, senses heightened and alert.
Time seemed to blur as they delved deeper, their unity and shared purpose manifesting in every step they took. The distant hoot of an owl echoed through the trees, a reminder that they were not alone in this world.
A rustling in the underbrush brought them to a halt. Gureus raised his hand, signaling his family to be still. Kizuya's heart pounded, his gaze darting to the source of the noise.
Silence settled over them, broken only by the gentle whispers of the wind. Then, a pair of luminous eyes gleamed in the darkness, fixated on them. A low growl reverberated through the air as a shadowy figure emerged from the foliage.
"A warg," Elaris whispered, her voice a mixture of caution and awe.
Gureus tightened his grip on his sword, his stance unwavering. "Stay close, both of you."
Kizuya's pulse quickened as he watched his father, his admiration for Gureus growing with each passing moment. "๐๐ฆ'๐ด ๐ด๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ณ๐ข๐ท๐ฆ, ๐ด๐ฐ ๐ด๐ฌ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฅ" Kizuya thought, feeling a surge of pride welling up within him.
The warg circled, its predatory gaze fixed on its potential prey. Gureus's movements were deliberate and calculated, his sword poised for action. Then, with a burst of speed, the warg lunged.
Gureus met the attack head-on, his blade slicing through the air with precision. The clash of steel resonated, a harmonious symphony of combat. Kizuya's breath caught as he witnessed his father's mastery, every strike and parry executed flawlessly.
Elaris stepped forward, her hands wreathed in a soft, ethereal glow. With a whispered incantation, she unleashed a surge of healing magic, mending the scratches that marred Gureus's skin. Her contribution to the battle was a testament to her unwavering support.
Kizuya's own heart swelled with a newfound resolve. He felt the surge of magic within him, a testament to the years of training and dedication. In this moment, he recognized the strength that had been forged within their family.
As the warg's final growl echoed through the forest, the trio stood victorious. Breathing heavily, Gureus wiped the sweat from his brow, a proud smile tugging at his lips. Elaris's healing magic continued to weave its soothing touch, restoring her husband's vitality.
Kizuya gazed at them both, a sense of unity and purpose settling within him. He realized that their haven was more than just a sanctuaryโit was a testament to their resilience, their bond, and their shared determination to thrive in a world that had once cast them aside.
With the night's trials behind them, they made their way back to their sanctuary, hearts aglow with triumph. As they settled in for a well-deserved rest, Kizuya's voice cut through the darkness once more.
"Mom, Dad, that was amazing."
Gureus and Elaris exchanged a knowing glance, their smiles reflecting the unspoken pride that bound them together.
"Goodnight, Kizuya."
"Goodnight, Mom. Goodnight, Dad."
And so, beneath the starlit canopy, their haven cradled them in its embrace, a testament to their strength, their unity, and their unbreakable family bond.
