"Knock knock," Xerxes said with a quiet tone as he walked into the nursery. As expected, the boys were in great hands. There were two wet nurses, a doctor, and another medical nurse in the room when he entered.
"I hope I am not disturbing?" He said.
"Of course not, you are their father. You should be here." A female voice stated behind him and Xerxes' lips spread into a smile. He turned around and chuckled when he saw the older woman standing slightly bent from old age before him.
"Nanny Shu, when did you get back?" He asked.
"This morning, your mother told me you insisted I come to watch the boys."
He nodded. "I trust only you with the wellbeing of my sons. After all, you have taken such great care of two generations of Zhens now."
"I would prefer it stop there, but what can I do? I could never say now to that kind smile."
He laughed and wrapped his arms around the older woman.
"I would like to hold them for a moment." He said to his nanny, and she nodded.
She walked past him and stood in front of one wet nurse. "Are you done feeding the young master? His father will burp him."
The wet nurse got up and handed the tiny bundle to the nanny, who expertly held him with one arm as the other held unto a cane. She turned away to make herself decent since Xerxes was standing in the room.
"Here, take your son. I assume you know what to do?"
Xerxes nodded. His face lit up as he took the little human, cradling him gently over his shoulder he rub the baby's back in a circular motion. The nanny could not help but smile as she saw how happy he looked. With her cane, she tapped the arm that held him.
"Lower it to cradle his bottom and support his neck," she instructed and he nodded. She was about to tell him to make little movements but he already started swaying from side to side.
"That's it, my good boy," Xerxes said sweetly. "Hello, Xavier."
"That's not Xavier," the nurse corrected and Xerxes' brows furrowed.
"He isn't?" He asked, pulling the baby away from his shoulder to look at him. Confusion was etched all over his features. Immediately the baby started crying and there was a round of soft laughter in the room.
"It appears our little Xander is upset that dad got his name wrong," the nanny chuckled and Xerxes' face reddened from embarrassment.
"Oh I so sorry honey, I promise I won't get it wrong again."
"You shouldn't make promises you cannot keep president Zhen," the doctor said chuckling. "They are identical, I am sure this is the first mistake too many more in the future."
"Oh at least they have their father's genes, he was very well-behaved as a child. They will be well-behaved."
Xerxes stared at his son with so much love. "If it is about genes then we cannot be sure of that, not when Xian is their mother. Anyway, I will love you and your brother no matter your behaviour. It's my fault she became you mother."
"You say that now because they are small and cute, wait till they run around causing nothing but chaos." Another nurse chimed in.
"That's why I plan to enjoy this to the fullest of my abilities."

Fiona stared at Xian's empty room filled with disappointment and disbelief. "Where ahs she gone now?" She wondered. "Could she have gone back to her apartment? No, she won't just leave her babies."
Turning around she walked out of the room when she saw the dark brown highlights that caused her to shiver in annoyance. "It's the doctor from yesterday!" She exclaimed running towards her.
"Hey!"
Shuhua turned around to scold the person that was shouting in the hospital, more specifically the VIP ward. "You again? Do I need to call the cops to get you out of here?"
"What can of doctor are you?"
"I beg your pardon?"
"Would it have killed you to let me know where I was heading yesterday? Just because I am not family I can't see my friend?" Fiona huffed, her annoyance increasing steadily as she spoke. "Now, look she has left the hospital!"
Shuhua scoffed. "And this is my problem how? Go to her home then, why are you still in the hospital?"
"I don't know where-" Fiona began but she caught herself just in time and let out a heavy sigh. "Why didn't you just tell me where she was yesterday!"
"I don't have time for this. Excuse me." She said as the elevator does slid open. Fiona wanted to stop her but what could she do? If she said that she didn't know where Xian had gone then it would make her seem like she was a crazy stalker or something. Who, just who could she ask in this hospital about Xian?

"Hmm? Why do you look annoyed, did something happen on your rounds?" Logan asked Shuhua as she walked towards him.
"My rounds?" Shuhua said with a raised brow and he threw his hands up in defeat.
"Thank you dear Shuhua for doing this great deed for your loser friend." He chuckled and his receptionist shook her head. She did not know how Dr. Shuhua put up with him. How she could like such an unserious and clueless man like this, that was why she kept putting up with all his indiscretions and kept doing him favours. He was the heir of this hospital but he acted nothing like it. Maybe that was why he was so lax, the world was offered to him on a sliver platter.
"But did something happen?"
"Just a run in with some persistent woman in the VIP ward."
"Patient?"
"No, she came to see a patient yesterday but she got the wrong room number and I wouldn't tell her the correct number because she wasn't family. Now, because the patient has been discharged she blames me."
Logan's brows furrowed. "Can't she just go to the person's house?"
"That's exactly what I said!"
"But you are coming from the VIP ward."
"And?"
Logan turned to his receptionist. "Help me check how many patients where discharged from the VIP ward between yesterday and today."
"Why are you asking for that?" Shuhua asked.
"What was this woman's relationship with the patient?"
"I think she said she was her friend? What is this about? You don't have to look for her, she didn't insult me or anything." Shuhua said, feeling exponentially better when she realized that he was just being protective. Yes, it might seem annoying most of the time. But Logan was like this, he was ferociously protective about the people he cared for.
"Only one patient was discharged. Xian Mina." The receptionist said and Logan grabbed Shuhua hand and pulled her towards the exit.
"Logan! What are you doing?"
"You can recognize her right? The woman." He said as he rushed them past hallways.
"I guess, but I told you, you don't need to-"
"If she is someone that knows Xian, then she would be valuable to her, she can help Xian much better than I can." Shuhua immediately stopped walking.
"This is about Xian?" She asked, looking up at Logan as he breathing became unsteady.
"Yeah, I told you her condition. She needs all the help she can get."
'But it not a doctor's job to find her friends or speed away from a meeting because she paged.' Shuhua thought bitterly. 'It's not your job!' She wanted to yell but she couldn't.
"She is a brunette and she was wearing a purple sweater that fades to lavender on the bottom. Go and help her by yourself, I have no obligations to help." She said, turning to walk away.
Logan knew she was pissed but he didn't want to miss this woman so he let her go and sped off. Leaving Shuhua behind to watch him chase after another woman, again.
