My trip to the Grey Mountains was much nicer this time since it was mid-summer, and there was no risk of snow. Kholkogh had no trouble with the foothills, and I soon found myself greeted by the dwarves and ushered below the mountains.
The Dwarf King had a scowl on his bearded face when I met him. He didn't get out of his throne, but instead sat before me with his thick arms folded in front of him.
"Your king has been very unfair to us," he stated gruffly, referring to King Gareth. "The tariffs he put on our goods are crippling our economy, and nobody can afford our weapons and armor."
