Half an hour later you're driving down the highway, Ed in the passenger seat beside you.
"Bates and Lee," he reads off his phone. "Paranormal Investigation and Removals. Wards, stakes, silver, and salt at wholesale prices."
"What are they using salt for?"
Ed shrugs. "Make food taste better? Who knows? Left here."
You flick on the indicator and turn off the highway. You've taken Vicky's car. She reluctantly handed over the keys when Ed reminded her it would be a faster getaway if the hunters figured out what you were.
"What made you pick these guys?"
"They've got four and a half stars on Yelp," Ed says.
Hunters get reviews on Yelp. You're not sure how you feel about this information. "I thought most city people didn't believe in the paranormal."
"Doesn't matter if most don't," Ed says. "There are enough people in cities to still turn a profit off those that do."
That was a valid point.
