The sun rose in the direction that it came in straight into the ward windows which shined brightly on the surface of the earth.
Alice's smile knew no bounds the moment she woke up, she had recalled how she slept off last night and that this was the first time her mom's face was the last beautiful thing she had seen and the first early morning luck she came face to face with and to top it all she woke up in the arms of her mom "what could be so darling then this.?" she thought to herself with a satisfactory smile placed firmly on her lips she couldn't ask for anything more than moments like this for the rest of her life just until she could find love and move over to her husband's house.
Everything stopped for a while just at the thought of her getting married for real " No..! no..! no…! Snap out of it " She hit her hand on her head slightly just not to wake her mom.
"Hey baby" It didn't work. She had already woken her anyway.
"Good morning Mom."Alice smiled while looking into her mom's beautiful sea green darling eyes, she had never looked into her mom's eye before so she didn't know what it looked like not until today."Today has to be a great day I can feel it in me."She thought to herself.
"Good morning honey, How was your night.?"Jamie loosened her grip on Alice's body and came down from the mattress, she stood and stretched her body then started walking around the ward while she asked after her daughter's night's rest.
"It was great mom, I haven't had a good night's rest in such a long time now. I can see you are getting better."Jamie couldn't contain the joy in her heart when she heard Alice's response to her question.
"Yeah, as you can see I told you right, I am strong."Alice smiled at her mom's remark about herself.
" Mom, that doesn't mean you will be discharged today like Rita asked." Alice was beginning to feel worried about her mom going back to that hell of a house.
"Don't worry Alice, I will be perfectly fine"Jamie assured her daughter Though Alice didn't believe that, she just didn't have any other option than to accept.
Hours later, Alice & Jamie had taken a shower and were settled for the day. Alice attempted to order breakfast just as she was about to dial on the McDonald's fast food delivery contact, Theo entered with his hands filled with bags that contained loads of breakfast and side dishes.
"Good morning beautiful ladies" He greeted as soon as he passed into the room.
"Good morning Theo dear, how was your night.?" Jamie asked with a smile on her face.
"Who and what do we have here..?" Alice rushed over to where Theo stood, took the bags from him, and went ahead to rest them on the table right beside her mom's bed and started unpacking the receptacles out of the bags.
" A good morning to you too Alice" Theo responded to Alice with a greeting instead of an answer not minding her manners, he smiled and followed her to a couch in the corner of the room and sat down while watching Alice impatiently unpacking the stuff he brought.
"Theo….!!!!???"Alice looked over to where he sat and stared at him for some while with her heart overwhelmed with happiness. Theo winked at her in riposte, she blushed and took her eyes off him as soon as she could.
"Theo thank you so much for these, I am quite impressed that you can cook," Jamie uttered.
"Yeah, I grew up with four gorgeous sisters so I couldn't help but learn, "Theo proudly announced. And went on and on to brag about how good of a cook he was.

Valentino sat at his office less concerned about what had happened between him and Alice, he didn't need her after all. He was busy with some paperwork when one of his servants came to inform him that the parents were waiting downstairs.
"Oh f**k" he cursed as he went down jumping two stairs in a go.
"Hey son, how are you doing?" Mrs. Annabelle walked over to Valentino as soon as he was down the stairs just to greet him with a tight hug like she had not seen him for ages.
"Mom, to whom do I owe this sudden visit, The last time I checked you guys hardly visited my house," Valentino stated with his cold chilly voice and kept his gaze at them to get an answer but no he didn't instead his Father spoke.
"Where is Alice.?" he asked "Christ, what's going on? Why will he be here only to ask me after Alice, I am sure they have not yet noticed anything, or did that bitch spill something to them, she better not push me." Valentino thought to himself not knowing an answer to give to his parents.
"She's fine, why do you ask.?" He pretended like he didn't know what was going on.
"Give her a call to get here now 'cause we have something to announce to you guys," Mr. Daniel said with his eyes fixed on his son to get his reaction. Recently he has been having this feeling that Alice was not real and that everything about their wedding and stuff was all cooked up, so he decided to handle everything himself and make the wedding happen as soon as he could right before his eyes.
"I will go get my phone and give her a call, excuse me, please. " Valentino was already back in his office thinking of what to do because Alice had broken the contract with him last night. He didn't have any other way to resolve this if not to call Alice, plead with her, and explain the situation at hand" Yes I should give her a call" He took his phone and dialed Alice's number.

Alice and her mom were exclusively happy to see Theo with the food he brought. Alice was once again proud to have Theo as a roommate and a friend, and forever grateful to him as well. They ate happily, just until Alice received a call and had to excuse herself from the room telling her mom it was work.
"Hey, How may I help you, thought I ended our contract so why the sudden call.?" She didn't even allow Valentino to say a word since he was the one that called she only went ahead to end things again with Valentino "Valentino I would like to inform you that our contract has been revoked, I can't work with someone as inconsiderate as you are so I guess you didn't get me back there in the restaurant, DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN....!!!!"Alice yelled which cut people's attention, most of them had to shift away from Alice thinking she was going mad little by little. Alice ended the call furiously only to look up and see people's eyes all on her their stares almost dug a hole into her heart, and she hurriedly dashed out of the place she was. Alice got to her mom's ward but didn't go in immediately. She had to calm her nerves first so as not to show how furious she was. Then a beep message entered her phone she checked just to see it was Valentino.
"HEAR ME OUT PLEASE." She read the text and was a bit surprised that the Almighty Valentino had said a please to her. She dialed his number and of course, he picked up almost immediately after the call came in.
"Alice, let's get contracted again."
