Chapter 25 - "Weirdo!"

Keele wore a visually striking and elegant outfit that is characteristic of a mystical and ethereal entity. She had on a short ball gown costume dress made of silk with a corset. Hanging on her shoulders was a red cloak being gently blown by the wind.

On her fiery red short bob was a magnificent headpiece adorned with jewels. She also wore half-lens reading glasses which was just the icing on the cake for Arwen. Her face was barely recognisable from all the makeup but if one looked closely they could tell it was her.

Arwen was standing there in a daze looking like his IQ had packed its bags and deserted him.

Kilin pursed her lips stifling her laughter when she saw the smitten look on Arwen's face. He looked like he had been struck by Cupid's arrow and couldn't be revived.

Seeing that he hadn't said anything yet, Keele pointed at him accusingly. "You think it's ugly, don't you?" she said and Arwen stammered out an answer, the tips of ears turning crimson.

"Stu-stunning... I mean you look good," he said, pushing up his glasses.

Keele seemed very satisfied with the response. She hooked his arm and asked, "Which character do you think I am dressed as?"

Arwen had no idea. He wanted to act like he knew so he wouldn't look uncultured but there was no way a person whose favourite hobby was reading books like him would know what she was dressed as.

He shrugged his shoulders and Keele ran a few feet ahead. She twirled around like a ballerina before saying, "I am the bewitching Lady Sif, Don't look too close otherwise you might fall under my spell."

Kilin, "..."

"I think it's a bit too late for that," said Kilin with a smirk but Keele couldn't understand her meaning. Arwen cleared his throat as he nervously pushed his glasses back into place.

As they passed by the main gate the security guard couldn't help but peer her head through the small window.

"What? Are you part-timing as princesses for kids' parties?" She asked with the half-eaten croissant in her hand.

"No,"

"Yes," they replied simultaneously and she raised her brow.

"Have at it as long as you aren't breaking the law," she said before sitting back down. Kilin and Keele strutted confidently through the streets with no care in the world while Arwen followed behind watching Keele. To say he was mesmerised would be an understatement. Despite the relatively quiet surroundings, they couldn't help but notice the curious gazes from passersby. Undeterred, they kept walking while chattering and occasionally giggling. Their destination was the park that overlooked the river, a serene spot perfect for capturing some memorable photos.

As they entered the park, Kilin and Keele scouted out a few picturesque locations. Arwen, with his keen eye for photography, skillfully captured the essence of their characters in frozen moments in time. Amidst the photo session, a little toddler caught sight of them and was instantly fascinated. She enthusiastically waved as she ran to them. Her mother followed behind and asked if her daughter could take a picture with them. They both agreed and took pictures with her before saying goodbye. The little girls seemed quite reluctant to leave.

The two of them waved goodbye to her with beautiful smiles on their faces and Arwen managed to capture that heartwarming image forever.

Just as Kilin was about to take her final set of pictures, her ethereal beauty shining with the wind gently blowing through her hair, a teenager who appeared to be around their age shouted, "Weirdo!" His group of friends joined in laughter, their mocking voices echoing in the park. Keele's anger surged, and she shouted back, her voice laced with intensity, "What did you just say?" She assumed an intimidating stance, ready to defend her friend if necessary.

Arwen, sensing the tension, quickly moved to hold Keele back while Kilin discreetly blocked her view. The boys, emboldened by Keele's fiery response, attempted to escalate the situation. However, the moment Kilin's eyes locked onto theirs, a chilling glare filled with silent menace, they instinctively took a step back.

Kilin's voice steady and firm she commanded, "Move right along." The boys, now feeling the weight of her words, chose to walk away, casting wary glances over their shoulders.

"Yea, you better run. You cowards!" Keele's voice rang out, a mix of satisfaction and defiance. Arwen released his grip on her, knowing that the storm had passed for now.

"Shh... are you trying to call them back? I don't feel like pepper spraying anyone today," said Kilin but the fire crack Keele was ready to go to war. In other words, she was just like her mother, fiery and feisty.

The sun was almost reaching high up in the sky thus They rushed to finish off Kilin's last set of pictures. As Arwen captured the essence of Kilin's beauty in the pictures, the perfection of the moment was undeniable. Every detail, from the flowing silk gown to the enchanting eyes, was frozen in time, capturing Kilin as the very embodiment of the water demi-goddess herself, Lady Kiyg.

Modelling seemed to come naturally to Kilin as if she had been born to embody the grace and allure of this mythical character. The lens of the camera seemed to be enchanted, drawn to her as if under a spell. Kilin's gaze met the lens with a confidence and magnetism that held the power to captivate hearts and souls.

In that single image, the vibrant colours, the delicate movements, and the undeniable presence of Kilin merged to create a masterpiece. The picture was a witness to her beauty, strength, and the magic that flowed through her veins. It was a glimpse into a world where fantasy and reality intertwined, where a mere mortal could become a goddess in the eyes of those who beheld her.

As Arwen looked upon the image, he couldn't help but be moved by the sheer perfection captured in that moment. Kilin was not just playing a character. She was a force of nature, a beacon of beauty and power that transcended the boundaries of the digital realm bringing two characters to life.

Keele leaned in to take a look at her eyes widened in awe. She glanced at Kilin while praising her. "Wah... they look so beautiful. Come take a look at yourself."

The three of them looked through the small screen while commenting on the pictures.

"I will edit them and send them to you. Can... can I have your number?" asked Arwen, having found an opening.

Kilin didn't see a problem with it. She said a series of numbers and Arwen added her to his contact list.

"Let's go eat something before you go. I don't want you to be late otherwise your mom won't let you out next time," said Keele and they walked back to the school to change back into their regular clothes.
