Wyatt could hear them already giggling like high schoolers in love for the first time while he was walking up the stairs.
After taking a long soothing shower, he changed into more comfortable casual clothes with a towel hanging on his neck.
His phone which had been silent this entire time chimed and he picked it up. He had muted the group chat with his friends because of the incessant beeps from the notifications. Thus this had to be something else. He swiped down the notification bar while rubbing the water away from his nape.
His brows knitted when he saw it was a push notification for someone he had watched before on one of these streaming platforms. He liked playing Heroes of Terra and happened to watch a few live streams to pass time thus he was receiving push notifications related to that specific game.
He tapped on the notification without thinking anything of it but when he saw a blank screen he put his phone down and went to use the drier.
When he came back he heard a voice similar to Lady Kigyn from the world of Heros of Terra. It was a soft, soothing voice that was gentle and calming, like a diety.
Her voice was almost melodic, filled with a sense of peace and serenity that can bring comfort to those who listen. He had played this game long enough to be able to recognise her voice.
When he picked up his phone he stood there still for a moment watching a live streamer cosplaying Lady Kigyn. Just like the game character she had long, dark-purple hair that fell past her shoulders. She had blue eyes that sparkled like jewels and a fair, radiant complexion. She also wore a gorgeous silk dress with black and purple patterns. On her feet she wore a pair of heavy-plate armoured boots and wielded a massive two-handed sword.
It was so flawlessly done that she was the true embodiment of the demi goddess herself. Even the demeanour and mannerisms were similar.
He sat down in his swivel chair a little intrigued. There was something familiar about the cosplayer but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Kilin was excitedly talking to her viewers while answering questions trying to stay in character the entire time. Her voice had changed and her personality shifted like she was an entirely different person.
They were a barrage of live chats on half of the screen and if one wanted their chat to be noticed within the sea of words they would have to buy her a gift and their chat would be placed at the top.
"... I just got this today. I will upload pictures later," she replied to one of the super chats while leaning closer to the screen.
"... PlayfulNut says... would you send me nude_, Really?... Nooo," she said while pushing her long hair back her expression a little unpleasant.
Instantly a lot of chats yelling at the moderator popped up and flooded the screen.
Moderator Keele who was being scolded almost cried tears of blood. It was inevitable that Kilin was going to attract creeps and it was very hard to keep up.
"Hey hey hey be nice to my moderator. She is really working hard," said Kilin when the door handle was suddenly turned and with a soft pitter-patter Raylan entered her room.
Kilin turned to wave him off. "I am live streaming now. You can come back later," she whispered to him off-camera.
"Mum said you should come and eat already," he said wanting to peek at the screen but he was pushed away.
Kilin got up and led him out of her room before closing the door and locking it. When she came back the live chat was filled with people wanting to see the little cutie who interrupted their live stream.
Kilin just brushed it off. Her mother would kill her if she dared show her brother in her live streams.
The screen that was filled with gifts was suddenly overshadowed by a meteorite shower which was the most expensive gift on the platform.
Kilin looked at the top chat and read in a whisper, "Thank you for the generous gift Reckless25. Can you say... Will you_."
She didn't even need to read the rest. Their request was simple enough. They wanted her to say one of Lady Kigyn's lines in the game.
With the flying petals on the screen she moved her hands swaying gracefully her figure flowing gently like a spring as she said, "Allow me to be your guide.... through this celestial journey."
It was like a choreography that she had practised countless times thus it was almost secondary nature to her. When she was done her screen was once again covered in meteorites. It seemed her benefactor was pleased with her performance.
Half an hour later Kilin came downstairs to show her mum. Mary Lee who was working in the lounge on her laptop couldn't understand what the fuss of cosplaying was about but she didn't discourage it.
"You look lovely... you were live streaming again?" she asked with her hand resting on her chin while watching her daughter who seemed so happy.
"Yea... and I made a lot of money too. You really like it?" she asked again while twirling around you would think she was playing a princess in a movie.
"You look very beautiful. Now go change so we can eat," she said and Kilin nodded her head before running up the stairs.
After removing all her make-up and washing her face she rushed downstairs forgetting her phone which was beeping as a notification came through.
While eating, Mary Lee glanced at her daughter seeming hesitant to ask. After mulling over it in her head she said, "That boy?"
Kilin's body stiffened slightly as she put down her fork. After a while she responded, "He sent the message to the wrong person. We are really not dating. You don't have to worry."
"Oh," said Mary Lee heaving an internal sigh. "It's good that its sorted out now. It's better to hurt now when compared to a lifetime of pain."
Kilin didn't understand what she meant but she didn't ask further. She just didn't want to think about what happened today ever again.
