The journey to i-island was mundane for Midoriya filled with people who only knew how to work their mouths and not their hands and deep down it disgusted him, but he refrained enough to not beat them up and strap a quirk-suppressing collar on their necks.
Getting off the transport, he was ushered into a building that turned out to be a massive hall for the science fair that was starting in the next 2 hours. When he got to his turn the man registering them looked up at him before asking him a few questions but raised and gave him a look that Midoriya didn't like at all when he said he was quirkless but had to calm down and not break his bones.
When he had gotten his pass tag headed to where some old and slightly damaged equipment was kept for the fare. After staring at a few hi-tier gadgets he became bored but was attracted to two things in particular; an old radio and a V.R headset which made a few participants snicker as he picked them up and headed to the work table assigned to him but was blocked by a boy with a slightly larger than normal head and a girl whom midoriya guessed was his sister city the obvious facial resemblance, height and similar blue hair. The only difference was that she didn't have a similar cranial structure.
"So you're the quirkless fool who's competing with us? You won't even be a challenge. Tell me what makes you think you're special?" the boy asked with a smirk while his sister looked at Midoriya like he was dirt. Meanwhile, Midoriya just picked his nose, pulled out a booger then flicked it away before replying "I know for a fact me being quirkless is a specialty on its own making me rare myself. But what I want to know is why you're all working your mouths instead of your hands" then walked away, leaving a fuming boy and a smirking girl.

While the other participants were busy thinking and shaping metals for their projects, Midoriya was busy sleeping on the work table which earned him a look of disapproval from the overseers of the event. Halfway to the presentation of the blue-haired twin's presentation, they were alerted to some noise coming from Midoriyas' corner which made the overseers walk up to him to ask him to leave, as he didn't have anything worth showing to the observers, agents, and overseers, But they stopped in shock as Midoriya ripped off his shirt to reveal a sleek skintight bodysuit below it, they were more shocked when four tentacles like appendages appeared behind him and started brandishing various tools.
"Hello and welcome to my science presentation, I under no circumstances allow the duplication. and sale of my inventions. But still, you can try"
Midoriya started with a small smile before the tentacles went to work by slicing, welding, and molding the parts of the VHS and VR headset to create three different items, and under record time too. Midori ya then presented three different items to the observers, Picking up the first item which looked like half a visor that was tinted red he began explaining "What I have here is a mobile quirk scanner that can be used to identify and categorize peoples' quirks and their weaknesses. allow me to demonstrate" he then equipped the visor to his left ear and eye before facing the blue-haired boy with the abnormal cranium "hmmm....Yatoru Hitomi, quirk is neural electrification; your brain releases bolts of electricity which in turn boosts your brain power and processing speed but the downside of the quirk is that if used too much could cause a temporary stroke" he said which made Yatoru scowl. Turning to Yatoru's sister he continued "Saara Hitomi, quirk is heated fingers; you can let your fingers heat up to certain degrees but each finger has a particular heating limit, the hottest being the thumb. With this quirk, you use it to create circuits and weld metals together. The inky downside is that if used too much would cause you to get third-degree burns on your fingers and the worst-case scenario is the skin on your fingers falling off" Ignoring the surprised faces of the onlookers he continued "The next presentation is the optical argumentation, meant to increase the ability of any optical-based quirks. But since I don't have any optical-based quirk I'll keep this for someone who does" Midoriya murmured before pocketing the visor-like glasses with narrow horizontal slits.
"Lastly we have the negative quirk negator which negates any negative effect of any quirks which makes the user of such quirk almost unbeatable. It's a piece of dangerous equipment if I do say so myself." he finalized while pointing to a tiny bracelet before he began packing up his creations but was stopped by a fat professor who had an evil glint in his gaze "I'm sorry Mister Midoriya but you're not allowed to take away any inventions created for the fare as they now belong to us" he said with a hint of greed in his voice. Midori ya sighed as he watched them taking away the three inventions he made "humans will always be humans, I warned you about this. Q.S310-113-05, O.V310-113-06, Q.N310-113-07 self-destruct" he said with a hint of anger in his voice, and on command they started sparking, then smoking before bursting into smithereens.
"What did you just do" the fat nan asked with a voice laced with shock "Wasn't it obvious? I made them terminate their operation programs to avoid theft" he replied with a yawn before walking out of the hall surrounded by intense gases. 'I wonder if they gave good takoyaki here...probably synthetic' he thought while picking up his shirt and retracting the biomechanical tentacles.
Meanwhile, he left behind a frightened fat scientist, a thoughtful blue-haired boy, a hopeful blue-haired girl, and another pink-haired girl with stars in her eyes.
