As the succulent meat touched his palate, a surge of delight coursed through him, akin to an enchanting melody. The meat's flavors danced upon his taste buds, each bite a symphony of subtle undertones.

Faye's curious voice chimed in, "Ah, you did some kind of magic meat! A culinary treasure, isn't it?"

Necro's mouth was too full to respond, but the delight on his face spoke volumes. He savored the moment, relishing the mysterious fusion of flavors that the meat offered.

Between mouthfuls, Faye teased, "You look like you've discovered the lost secrets of the universe in that meat."

With a hearty chuckle, Necro managed to utter, "It's... amazing. You should try it."

Faye's laughter echoed playfully, "Oh, how I envy your corporeal form at times."

Having thoroughly enjoyed the magical feast, Necro's mind began to wander. As he leaned back, he found himself contemplating the intricacies of teleport magic.

Necro's voice was thoughtful, "Faye, do you think I can learn teleportation magic?"

Faye's response was laced with curiosity, "Teleportation, huh? A lofty goal, my friend."

Necro grinned, his imagination running wild. "Imagine zipping from one place to another in an instant. The possibilities are endless."

Faye's tone was light-hearted, "Just be careful not to teleport into a tree or something equally unfortunate."

Necro's laughter mingled with Faye's, a moment of camaraderie between human and AI. "Point taken, Faye."

As if the universe heard Necro's musings, a surge of insight flooded his mind, unraveling the secrets of teleportation magic. With newfound clarity, he understood the essence of this mystical art.

In a distant cabin, far removed from our hero's path, the horned girl meticulously laid out her plans. "One scarab to keep watch, a wolf to trail scents, my ebony unicorn for protection or swift escape, and that formidable plant creature to fend off intruders," she murmured to herself.

Pausing before a mirror, she glanced at the brown pendant around her neck, a memento of her origins. With a determined look, she whispered, "Time to activate this thing and get accustomed." Gripping the pendant, she softly spoke a word: "Human." Instantly, her red skin paled and her distinctive horns faded from sight.

Approaching a wooden desk adorned with a crystal ball, she placed her hand upon it and said, "Here is Lyra Shadowhoof, do you read me?"

A deep voice resonated from the other side, "Of course, sister."

With a hint of annoyance, she replied, "Where's Mother? I'd rather not talk to you."

"Our mother is occupied. You can report to me," the deep voice responded.

Frustration edged her voice, "My training's paying off—I achieved Life Forger level 4 today."

The deep voice offered a nonchalant reply, "I accomplished that in three months. You're progressing slowly."

Although seething inside, she clenched her jaw in silence.

"The rage is probably brewing, but don't worry. On your left, you'll find a cabinet with a gift from your ever-loving brother," the deep voice continued. "To receive it, infuse mana into the black core above it. Farewell."

Her mood shifted abruptly as she reached out and triggered the mechanism. Within, a weathered brown book appeared. Her heart danced with joy as she leafed through its pages.

Page by page, the worn book unfolded a wealth of information about the region's creatures. "Ah, this will significantly expedite my progress," she mused.

Yet, on the final page, a stark warning caught her eye: "To the east, near a verdant statue, lies a level 100 brown dragon rock. Approach with caution."

Appreciating her brother's thoughtfulness, she sighed in relief. "Thank the gods he wrote this; I might have foolishly investigated that old statue."

Near a tranquil stream, Necro set to work, digging a hole in the earth and crafting a small wooden dam to half-fill the depression.

Faye chimed in, her curiosity evident, "And just what are you up to? Is that pit your version of a bathroom break?"

Necro chuckled, shaking his head, "No, nothing like that. I'm creating a tanning solution. It's what turns hide into leather."

Faye's ethereal laugh echoed, "Oh, of course, because naturally, everyone makes tanning solutions in the great outdoors."

With a determined expression, Necro gathered white ashes and added them to the water, stirring the mixture with a wooden spoon. The concoction took form, ready to be poured onto the stretched panther hide.

As he started pouring the liquid, a hint of disappointment crept into his tone, "Too bad the sun's about to set. It won't dry properly."

Faye's voice held a spark of insight, "You know, since you're familiar with the outcome of using the wolf hide, why not use your Mana Forger ability to expedite the drying process?"

Necro chuckled, acknowledging her suggestion, "You're getting smarter by the day, Faye."

As Necro tapped into his Mana Forger ability, a radiant surge of energy enveloped the stretched panther hide. In a mesmerizing display, the hide transformed, its texture shifting and its quality improving.

With a contemplative tone, Necro remarked, "Common panther leather... It's becoming clear, a pattern emerging from the chaos. Three methods combined, and yet again, it results in common quality. There's an intriguing order to this progression."

Faye's voice resonated with curiosity, "Do you think there's some grand design behind it, or is it simply the way the magical forces interact?"

Necro's response held a sense of wonder, "Who knows? It's like a puzzle waiting to be deciphered. Each method, each attempt, unravels a little more of the mystery."

Their conversation drifted into the realms of possibilities and enchanting unknowns, as the transformation of the leather hinted at a greater order beneath the surface of their crafting endeavors.
