The next day, after a quick breakfast of porridge, two of the girls left the cottage to look for the doctor, while the remaining three helped with the chores.
Besides, playing with the baby who hasn't been named yet was much more fun than going on errands.
After waiting for nearly two hours, the girl returned followed by a middle-aged man with a kind-looking face and a medicinal bag in hand.
"Thank you for coming all the way here, doctor!" with a kind smile on her face, Tapiwa welcomed the doctor.
The doctor wanted to scold the woman as he recalled how he managed to come all the way here, however when he felt the pressure on him again, he behaved.
"The pleasure is all mine, madam. I heard that you need me to check your baby. Do you mind if I take a look at her?" being humble as best as he could, the doctor sought permission as he looked at the woman who wore a kind smile on her face.
Tapiwa smiled softly at the doctor, before nodding.
