Just by listening to the villagers, Tapiwa was sure that the village she was going was special and that there might be some mysterious encounter waiting for her there.
And she was more convinced when she heard the villagers talking about the saintess. There weren't a lot of people that had saints or priestesses. Not many people still went to temples to worship the gods.
Tapiwa worshipped no god. Rather than believing in an existence that she wasn't sure existed, and one that didn't provide her aid when she was suffering. She preferred to believe in herself.
Only by putting effort and working hard would she get everything that she wanted.
Although everything that had happened to her in the past three years was magical and unbelievable, Tapiwa didn't even know which deity to pray to. She didn't want to provide faith in a god that didn't do anything for her.
