"Hey, when is that person going to leave?" a younger woman asked another slightly older woman, confusion written all over her face.
The slightly older woman looked at the younger one and chuckled helplessly, "We need to wait for the elders. They probably should have an answer."
"I mean, why would they even bother to bring another person when it is already hard to feed everyone?"
"Showing kindness had always been the village's motto. Don't you know about that?"
"It's not like when we are kind, we receive rewards for it. haven't we been scammed enough already?"
