When the young woman who had come out earlier to give the news to the customers heard that, her eyes brightened up, and excitedly responded to the customers, "Let me go and ask her. I will be back in a moment."
Since she didn't have any answers, the best way was for her to go and ask her lady boss. She was the one with the final say, after all.
The young woman was gone for like five minutes or so before returning with a smile on her face.
Seeing that smile and relieved expression on the other's face, the women who were anxiously waiting for some good news beamed with smiles as well.
'There should be some good news!' that's what all of them were thinking.
"Lass, tell us. What did your boss say to you?"
"Umm, hurry up!"
The young woman, seeing how urging the women were being, hurriedly gave them an answer before they tore her apart.
