Athena POV
I stared at him totally speechless, I couldn't say anything to defend why I was being so close to him or jealous of a dead or missing lady.
"I also don't know why but I just feel like everyone needs a chance to be forgiven and I forgive you". I said to him trying to sit up on the bed which he hurried to assists me with.
"Thank you so much for forgiving me, I had so many sleepless nights just because I really wanted to make it up to you and I regretted everything I did to you, please believe me". He said to me but more like a whisper.
"Was that why you always came back home drunk and hated staying in the mansion just to avoid me?" I asked and he nodded sitting beside me, due to his words for a minute there I had totally forgotten I even wanted to steal his wallet.
He was sounding so nice and caring to me which was weird, I always took him as the most wicked of the triplets. Why are they all so different with me?
"Have you eaten?" He asked.
"I wanted to eat a sandwich but it did not really flow well in my throat". I said to Logan who smiles, everything else was different about them starting from their characters but their smiles was still the same.
"Let me prepare something for you to eat before Liam gets back". Logan said to me but when I was about to argue with him I be saw him taking off his coat which clearly had his wallets in it.
"Should I really argue with my superior?" I asked smiling.
"You know the logic, just let me do this myself". He said taking off his jacket and walking out of my bedroom.
I stood up quickly I searched through his coat for his wallet which I found and in it he had no cash, that's weird. My eyes went for the picture immediately, in the photo was Logan and Jadennn, or should I say me. She looked exactly like me everything was identical between the both of us.
She even had the same hair color I had few years ago which was very weird and disturbing.
"Who are you Jadennn Ravenwood?" I said to myself still being wowed by her picture but one thing was definitely different about us. She looked more rich and classy while I was shabby looking and poor also an orphan while I am sure her family is different.
I didn't not want to wait till I get caught by Logan before placing things back in normal.
I placed the picture back the way it was in the wallet and kept the wallet in his coat before dropping it down and laying back in the bed.
I laid on my bed rolling from on side to another as Logan was really taking his time and I couldn't get her picture out if my head.
After an hour or more Logan walked in with a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, no wonder he took so long because he made the effort to cook something this elegant and great.
"Wow". I awe at the meal as he placed in beside me while I sat straight on the bed, I could not wait to devour the meal he had brought for me which was so tasty the first spoonful I placed in my mouth.
"Do you like it?" He asked looking a bit nervous.
"I love it but something else bothers me". I said to him making him more anxious.
"What?" He asked.
"Why are you nice to me so suddenly and mostly why are you skipping your daily activities?" I asked making him chuckle.
"I can't just claim you in the presence of Luke who is obsessed with you and Liam who owns you, doesn't that sound crazy." Logan said to me .
"Why did you always warn me about Liam, he is your brother and I see nothing dangerous about him?" I said to Logan who smiles.
"He is my brother and mostly I am his immediate twin even before Luke". Logan replied.
"But can I ask you something I hope you won't overreact to?". I added.
"Go ahead asked me anything".
"Why did you say I looked like a woman named Jadennn?* I asked.
"You two are identical which made me so worried when I found out that night, I couldn't bear seeing someone who looked so much like Jadennn because of how important she was to me". He said clearly trying to hold in the verge of tears in his eyes that he tried to keep in.
"You must really love her". I said with pity but instead he smiled and ruffles my hair with his hands.
"Eat before it gets cold and stop feeling pity For me, I already moved on it all happened ages ago". He said reminding me that I still had a delicious delicacy to eat which I savoured on quickly.
After the little time I had with Logan I saw him differently not the man I met that night but a totally different person, it was a good thing I planned this illness, because I got what I wanted and was also able to forgive Logan.
Logan had to leave after our discussion because of some things he had to deal with, sometimes I always wonder if they actually kill people for all the money they have, because I still don't know where their money comes from except from the clear fact that they are mafias.
It was finally nighttime and I couldn't wait for tomorrow to reach so I can finally stop being fake sick and just start training, I was about to come out of my bedroom when I saw Liam with a plate of food and a wide smile, seeing Liam made my heart leap. The most dangerous Steele triplets, why can't I stop thinking about that.
"Liam". I called trying my very best to sound weak.
"The maids told me you haven't left your room all day and I got worried and decided to check on you". Liam said but I stared at the meal surprised, why were they all cooking for me.
"Did you cook that?" I asked pointing to the meal in his hands.
"I did and I know you would love it". He said pushing himself in since I had been at the doorway all through the time.
He sniffed the air in the room and looked around for a while.
"Your room scents like Logan". He said staring at me with a frown, I just hope and pray he doesn't know that Logan sneaked his way in here.
"Was Logan here?" He asked. I could feel my heart leap out of my chest at his words, why was I so scared when it was Logan choice to come here.
"Did he come here". Liam asked again, I couldn't breathe well anymore and I felt really, really nervous.
"Yes," I replied.
"That bastard couldn't restrain from you!!" Liam yelled dropping the food and rushing out, why was he suddenly over reacting about it.
I rushed down the stairs after Liam but couldn't catch up and when I got to the sitting room he already held Logan by his collar while Luke and Amanda stared at them in shock.
"Liam what's the meaning of this?" Logan asked very calmly, which meant he was not scared of Liam temper. This clearly means this is not the first time Liam reacts like this.
"Liam please stop". I pleaded while Amanda scoffed.
"I can't believe you two are holding each other by the throat because of a woman who feels nothing for you". Amanda said.
"SHUT UP!!!!" The triplets yelled at once.
"Please can you stop". Luke said to them but Liam still wasn't letting go and Logan did not seem scared either.
"I told you to stay away from her, she is mine. I bought her fair and square and you promised me you won't get close to her I pitied you the first time because you were drunk but now I can't pity you". Liam said with a serious voice I have never heard before, I can't believe he got angry by just perceiving Logan body scent.
"I am sorry you all had to pass through this, I am sorry I got I'll and made you all check up on me and mostly for making Logan cross the line just because he was worried about me". I said to them making them all quiet but Logan seemed more angry.
"Athena, don't apologies for my mistake". He warned but what Logan did next made me scared, he pushed Liam away and gave him an heavy blow on the face, making me scream. He just hitted his senior brother and most dangerous.
