The next morning, Emily woke up feeling a mix of emotions. She was happy and in love, but her body felt different. She winced slightly as she moved, feeling a tender ache between her legs. She looked down and noticed a faint stain on the bed sheet, a reminder of the previous night's intimacy.
Robert woke up to notice her discomfort. "Hey, are you okay? You look a little sore," he said, his voice filled with concern.
Emily nodded, smiling weakly. "Yeah, I'm just a little... tender."
Robert leaned in and softly kissed her forehead, then her lips. "I'm sorry if I hurt you. I didn't mean to."
"It's not your fault," Emily replied. "I knew it might happen. It's just... my first time and my body's still getting used to everything."
Robert held her close. "I love you, Emily. We'll take it slow, and I'll always be gentle with you."
"Let's take a warm bath, it will help you relax," he whispered.
"Okay," Emily agreed.
