She turned around and saw three rough looking men laugh together at their friend's singing and Nova felt fear creep down her spine. She picked up the pace and started trying to walk faster but the men stuck to her.
"Where are you going pretty lady? Look guys, a brand new bride fell in my lap."
"Why is a beautiful bride like you all alone, have you been abandoned by your groom? Don't worry, we will keep you company.
"Yeah. We will make your wedding night so memorable but only if you stop walking so fast." They taunted as they kept following her, their voices dripping heavily with the immoral intentions they intended to carry out.
Nova glanced around in the hopes that she would find someone who would help her but everyone that passed her refused to even meet her eyes, no one wanted to get in it with these apparent trouble makers even though she was in obvious danger and needed protection.
