Mr. Harry dropped Kevin off in front of his house after lunch. Kevin was just about to go inside when he heard someone calling his name.
"Hey, Kevin, wait!" a voice called out.
Kevin turned around and saw Ricky walking towards him.
"Where did you go? I was looking for you," Ricky asked.
"I had to take care of some things. Why are you looking for me?" Kevin inquired.
"Well, I wanted to invite you to a party I'm going to tonight. Maybe you'll meet someone interesting there," Ricky said with excitement.
Kevin smiled and said, "Sure, why not? I don't have any plans, so I'll come."
"Great! I'll pick you up at 6," Ricky said, walking away.

"Dad, I really don't like him and don't want to go anywhere with him," Daisy begged her father.
"Daisy, you're going with Mr Philip tonight whether you like it or not. If you're done with your complaints, I have important work to do, so please leave," David ordered his daughter.
Daisy tried her best to control her emotions. Her father didn't care about her feelings. It was like she was just a toy to him. His business is more important than she did.
She walked out of the room. The maids were whispering to each other about her. She could hear them.
"I heard the young miss's fiance is a playboy. Why does Master want her to marry him?" the first maid said.
"The young miss is so kind and beautiful. Many people want to marry her. I don't understand why Master wants her to marry him," the second maid added.
"What are you two doing here? Don't you have work to do?" the butler scolded them.
Both maids apologized and went back to their work.
"It's funny how the maids are more concerned about me than my own family," Daisy thought.

"Hi Ricky!" A group of people approached Ricky and Kevin as they walked into the hotel.
"Hi there, everyone!" Ricky said with a big smile. "This is my buddy, Kevin."
"Hey Kevin, nice to see you!" Everyone said hello to Kevin.
They were all having a great time. After a little while, Kevin excused himself to get some drinks.
As he sipped his drink, Kevin glanced at his new friends. They were all laughing and having a good time. He noticed a lady sitting next to him who seemed like she was about to cry.
"Excuse me, Miss."

Daisy was lost in her thoughts, thinking about what she saw in her brother's room yesterday.
- Flashback -
"I'm sure Daisy will never suspect that I revealed her secret," Lucy said, chuckling, while she hugged Michael.
"Of course not! Do you really think she's smart enough to figure it out?" Michael chuckled.
"Absolutely not. she's so gullible. She tells me everything and never suspects a thing," Lucy said with a grin.
Daisy didn't want to hear any more of their nonsense. She walked away silently.
- Flashback ends -
Her suspicion is true, after all.
Daisy wished her suspicion was wrong. She wished Lucy hadn't revealed her plan, hoping she'd stand by her like Daisy had for Lucy in the past. But fate is cruel towards her always. Lucy was the one who betrayed her without remorse.
In the past, Lucy had been bullied at school, and Daisy was the one who stood up for her. Ever since then, they had been friends. Lucy knew everything about Daisy, how she had suffered because of her family and how they treated her like a burden. Lucy knew it all, yet she still chose to betray her.
Daisy didn't want to understand why Lucy had made that choice. Lucy hadn't been forced to do it by her brother; she had made the choice herself.
Lost in her thoughts, Daisy was startled when she heard someone calling her.
"Excuse me, miss."
