The two men dragged Angela and Beau to the front door of the house while Austin followed behind them. Austin opened the front door, and the men dragged Angela and Beau inside, throwing them to the water damaged, molded, damp, wood floor. Angela landed on her knees, getting scrapes while Beau landed on his bottom. Angela looked up, around the room seeing damp and dingy dark gray walls that had holes in it and exposed drywall, boarded up windows, an old rusted heater, a doorway with a stained white sheet covering the view to the next room, a old wooden chair with armrests, dust tape and rope that sat on the seat of the chair, a big hole in the ceiling that exposed the sky, and dirt and drywall scattered across the floor. She rushed over to Beau, holding him (Beau) as he (Beau) cried into her chest. Tears began forming in her eyes, and she said, "Why are you doing this?" Austin slammed the door, locking it behind him, and said, "Because I can. It's not like you don't deserve this, Angela, I mean Mrs.Bax." Angela shouted, "That's not an answer, Austin! What have I done to you? What has Beau ever done to you? You have been treated with kindness and respect! How could you do something so horrible to me and Beau after me and my husband clothed you and fed you! We gave you a job." Austin walked over to her, grabbed her face as she pulled away from him (Austin), and said, "You don't understand the desire I've had for you since day one but you never paid me any mind. No matter what I did, no matter what I said, you only saw me as a bodyguard while my desire for you grew. You weren't kind to me Angela, you wouldn't even let me use your first name because it made you uncomfortable!" Angela said, "Because you made a pass at me! I promised you that I wouldn't tell my husband if you would no longer call me by my first name and kept everything professional. I was willing to give you a second chance! I love my husband, and I will never cheat on him, especially not with the likes of you." Austin shouted, "Oh Angela wake up! The man doesn't care about you or Beau. You said so yourself he's always working. He probably doesn't even know you and Beau are gone, but me… I would know how to treat a woman like you right. I would know how to make you feel special every day. I know what it takes to step up and be a man. Why can't you love me? I love you, Angela." Angela's body shook in disgust, and she spit in Austin's face while saying, "You're sick! You're very sick. I love my husband, and he loves me! Yes, he's been busy at work, but he built The Bax Company up from the ground and made it into a million dollar company. He has goals and dreams, and one day, the company will be worth billions. You don't know what me and Nathaniel have been through, you don't know him but let me tell you I will always love him and I will never love you."
Austin wiped the spit off of his face with his hand and smiled while saying, "Mrs.Bax needs a little bit of redirection. Tie the kid up." Angela gripped Beau as tight as she could while the two men walked over to them. Angela and Beau screamed as the two men pulled them apart. "Let go of me," Beau yelled while the man dragged him (Beau) over to the wooden chair. Angela screamed, "Let go of me, don't hurt Beau!" Austin grabbed her face and said, "Relax, we won't hurt Beau… We just need you to do what we say. I need you to listen and do what I want." The man (who grabbed Beau) moved the duct tape and rope to the floor (while still holding on to Beau), forced Beau to sit down in the chair, picked up the rope, and wrapped the rope around his (Beau's) chest and stomach, tying him (Beau) to the back of the chair. Beau tried to struggle out of the rope while all the men in the room laughed at him. Austin grabbed Angela by the hair, dragged her across the floor all the way to in front of Beau while she cried, and said, "Beau, Beau Bear. If you're not a good boy, I'll have to hurt your mother. So please stop resisting, or I'll have to do this." Austin threw Angela to the floor and began stomping on her while she and Beau cried. Angela screamed, "Stop, please stop," and Beau cried, "Mom, stop hurting my mom." Austin kicked Angela and lifted her up off the ground by her upper arm. He (Austin) showed Beau, Angela's face. Beau looked at Angela's face, seeing bright red bruising starting to form on her cheek and around one of her eyes, and Austin said, "You see, you just hurt your mom. Now, if you don't want that to happen again. You'll stay seated and stop resisting." Beau began screaming while jumping in his chair, and Austin said, "Awe, maybe I should muzzle you." Austin picked up the duct tape off the floor, taped Beau's mouth while he (Beau) cried, and Austin said, "Now stop screaming and stop resisting, or your mother dies." Beau sat still in his (Beau's) chair while his (Beau's) tears rolled on to the duct tape. Beau looked at Austin, seeing him smiling at him (Beau), and Austin said, "That's a good Beau Bear." Angela cried, "Please, please don't hurt my son. Just leave him alone." Austin walked over to Angela, crouched down to her level, picked her up by her arms to her feet, and said, "If you don't want me to hurt you or your precious son you need to do what I say." Tears rolled down Angela's cheeks, and one of the two men said, "Hey Austin, when should we call Mr.Bax and demand the ransom?" Austin smiled at the man and said, "In due time… Let's not forget we have the beautiful Angela Bax and an old abandoned bedroom room, in the middle of nowhere and Mr.Bax won't even be looking for his wife so we can have fun right now. Isn't that right, Angela?" Angela felt her heart sink to her stomach, and tears flooded her eyes. Austin walked over to her, smelled her hair, and said, "Angela, I've wanted you since I first saw you, say you want me to." Angela slapped Austin and shouted, "Never! I will never want you! I don't even like you! I hate you, and you think my husband won't be looking for us. You are delusional."
Buzz, Buzz, Buzz, Buzz
Austin's cell phone started to ring. Austin took out his phone, seeing it was Nathaniel, and said, "There he is now, let's see if he's looking for you and Beau." Angela tried to snatch the phone away from Austin, but he punched her in the face, knocking her down to the ground. One of the two men grabbed Angela, and Austin said, "Cover her mouth." The man (that grabbed Angela) tapped her mouth shut and pushed down on the tape (that was covering her mouth) with his hand. Austin smiled and said, "Let's see what Nathaniel has to say." Austin answered the phone and put it on speaker. Austin said, "Hello, Mr.Bax. What can I do for you?" Nathaniel said, "I wanted to make sure you would be here at 7pm sharp tomorrow night to transport me from the office to the airport. I have a business trip tomorrow, and the paparazzi have been going crazy to take my picture lately." Nathaniel said "I'll be sure to be there on time, sir." Nathaniel said, "Yeah, well, you better be, I can't be late for my flight." Austin said, "I will make sure that I'm there to protect you, and I will drive you there myself to make sure you are on time for your flight. By the way, does Mrs.Bax know that you're leaving?" Nathaniel said, "No, but it's none of her business anyways. Besides, if she gets angry, I'll just buy her some roses, and that'll change her mood like it always does. She's such a simple woman, and also, let's leave the driving to the driver… I hate the way you drive Austin." Austin said, "You're right Mr.Bax she is simple, and I'll leave the driving to the driver… "Well, have a good night, and I'll see you tomorrow." Austin got ready to hang up the phone, but before he could, Nathianel said, "Oh wait, one more thing." Nathaniel said, "What is it that you need Mr.Bax?" Nathaniel said, "Pick up my dry cleaning. I need it for tomorrow." Austin said, "I will do it, Mr.Bax." Nathaniel said, "Alright, good night," and hung up the phone." The man (that was holding Angela) threw her to the ground on her knees while she covered her mouth and cried. All the men laughed, and Austin crouched down to Angela's level, saying, "See, what did I tell you? The man doesn't even know you're missing. He thinks you're simple. To him, you're just a toy, but to me, you're a queen. You should be with me! I can treat you better than he can. I can make your life so much better than it is." Angela looked at Austin with tears in her eyes, ripped the tape off of her mouth, and shouted, "My husband is going to come for me and when he does you'll be in for it. I love my husband, and I always will. You are nothing to me, and you will always be nothing to me. I can't stand the sight of you! You will never replace my husband, you will never be my husband, and I will never be with you!" Austin grabbed her arms and shook her while shouting, "Can't you see the man doesn't care! He doesn't even know you're missing! Are you that foolish that you will still stand by your husband after all that he said?! What is the matter with you?!" Angela pushed him (Austin) off of her, and she screamed, "I love my husband, and I'm going to stand by my husband! I know he's coming for me and Beau! He will come for us just you wait and see." Austin grabbed Angela and kissed her while she tried to push him away. He (Austin) stopped kissing her, looked her in the eyes, and said, "That's what a real kiss, from a man who loves you feels like." He (Austin) kissed her again while she resisted, stopped kissing her, looked her in her eyes once more, and said, "This, this is what it feels like to be loved! I want you, Angela! I want to be with you! Why can't you be with me?! Why do you have to resist?!" Angela shouted, "Because I don't love you! I want to be with my husband and my husband only." Austin grabbed Angela in a bear hug, turned her around to face Beau, and said, "Our Mrs.Bax needs more encouragement. Punish the kid." Angela screamed, "No," as the two men walked over to Beau and began punching him. Angela tried fighting out of Austin's grip while he laughed at her, saying, "This is what happens when you don't listen." Angela bit down on Austin's arm leaving deep teeth marks and causing him (Austin) to let her go from the pain, she stumbled to her feet, kicked one of the men (that was hitting Beau) in the groin making drop to the floor in pain, and tackled the other man to the ground. She started clawing at the man's (that she tackled) eyes, causing his eyelids to bleed and creating deep scratch marks. The other man stumbled to his feet and grabbed Angela, pulling her off of the man. He (the other man who just grabbed her) slammed her to the floor, and all of the men began stomping on and kicking Angela as she screamed. Beau looked up at his mom, seeing her get stomped on through his blurred vision and began to cry. He (Beau) mumbled "Mom," as her screams began to grow quieter and quieter. She reached for Beau, and Austin stomped on her hand, breaking it. Austin lifted her head up by her hair and said, "Look at your son. The two of you are now matching bruise buddies." Angela cracked open her eyes, seeing Beau with two black eyes, a bloody nose, a busted lip, and rips and blood throughout his clothing. Angela slowly closed her eyes, losing consciousness, and Austin let go of her hair, making her faceplant on the floor. Austin stood to his feet, saying, "If only you listened, I wouldn't have had to punish you."
BOOM BOOM CRASH
The front door busted open, and Nathaniel rushed into the room, tackling Austin to the ground. Nathaniel sat on top of Austin and began punching him (Austin) in the face, causing him (Austin) to get a broken nose, a broken jaw, two black eyes, and knocked in teeth. Nathaniel shouted, "I'll kill you, I will kill you." The two men started to run over to Nathaniel, but before they could touch him police sirens began sounding.
"FREEZE," a police officer shouted as multiple police officers rushed into the house with their guns drawn. Nathaniel continued punching Austin in his face, causing his eyes and lip to start swelling. Two male police officers grabbed Nathaniel, pulling him off of Austin, and one of them said, "Nathaniel, it's over. We got him, and if you don't stop, you'll kill him." Nathaniel shouted, "He needs to be dead. I'll kill him right now." The same officer shouted, "Look around and wake up! Your wife and son need you right now. They're badly injured!" Nathaniel looked to see his son tied to a chair and his wife laying face down on the ground, neither one of them moving. Two officers rushed over to Angela and Beau, both confirming that they felt pluses. An officer yelled, "We need EMT in here STAT," and multiple members of the EMT ran into the house. Some untying Beau and the others tending to Angela. The EMT's carried Beau and Angela outside onto stretchers and Angela woke up seeing flashing lights, multiple EMT's, multiple officers, multiple police cars, the men who kidnapped her and Beau and Austin being arrested and put in the back of police cars, 2 ambulances, and Nathaniel holding her hand on the right side of him and Beau's hand on the left side of him. An EMT put an oxygen mask on her face and Angela cried, "Nathaniel you came for us… How…" Nathaniel said, "I tracked you guys…" Angela looked over to see Beau looking back at her mumbling, "Mom." She cried, "Beau Bear," and they two were taken to the hospital in different ambulances.
Present time (13 years later)
Angela looked at Marigold, saying, "My husband had lied to Austin to keep him on the phone so he could track his call and find me and Beau. Nathianel saved us just in the nick of time. From the damage I had received, I had a dislocated shoulder and a few broken bones. They beat me so badly that I could no longer have children due to the extensive damage they caused to my reproductive organ. I had to get it removed… Beau suffered from some broken bones as well, and from that day forward, something changed. He became overprotective and like a hoverer. Which is why he sits outside your door all the time. He always wants to be sure you're safe and happy … I hope that gives you a better understanding of why Beau is and acts the way he does and I hope this gives you a better understanding of my husband. He goes about things the wrong way at times but he's good at heart…" Marigold said, "It does… Beau is a really sweet man…" A soft smile came to Angela's face and she (Angela) said, "Yes…. But sometimes people take advantage of his kindness and think he's someone to walk all over. Now Beau will stand his ground when it comes to family but when it comes to himself… It takes a lot to make him angry, however he does get frustrated with things sometimes very easily…" Marigold chuckled and said, "Yeah I see that sometimes…" Angela said, "Try to be patient with Beau Bear. I know he likes to get things done fast, and sometimes he can be extremely impatient, but he loves you…" Marigold said, "Hmmm, he loves me?" Angela smiled, looked down at the dried up dough, and said, "Oh dear, we've been talking so much that the dough has dried up." Marigold said, "Oh… Let's get this cooked quickly than before it gets any drier."
Angela and Marigold finished making the pasta, put tomato sauce on it, and Angela called Carls back into the kitchen, giving him a plate to try. Carls took a bite out of the pasta, jumped in his skin, and forced himself to swallow the pasta that was in his mouth. Carls asked, "Did you try this?" Angela answered, "No, we wanted you to be the first person to try it because you are so good to the family." Marigold asked, "What do you think?" Carls answered, "If I'm being honest, this is the type of meal you serve someone if you're trying to kill them." They all laughed, and Carls said, "Why don't you save some for Nathaniel and Beau for when they come back." Angela said, "That is cruel and unusual, and I love that idea. What do you think, Marigold? Should we give some to the boys?" Marigold chuckled, saying, "Most definitely," and Angela said, "Then it's settled, we'll save it for them and we'll give them the puppy eyes if they try throwing it away so they'll eat more." Marigold laughed and said, "That is going to be so funny."
