Darius who faintly heard Ashe's voice from behind, nodded, not caring that much whether or not she would be entering with him.
Then, Darius opened the wooden door which was thrice as tall as him if not more and was flabbergasted.
This place wasn't empty at all, in fact, everywhere that he looked he saw someone else.
As he started to move forward, someone's hand was placed on his chest pushing him back a little.
"Hey fellow believer, is it your first time coming here?" asked the girl in front of Darius.
'Fellow believer? What's happening here?' thought Darius as he couldn't help but think back to what Ashe had told him earlier.
Just from this small interaction, Darius thought that Ashe was weird.
Maybe there really were fanatics in this Church.
However, Darius hid those thoughts in the back of his head, as he slowly looked at the girl who was about a head shorter than him.
"Yes, first time, why?" asked Darius, as he started to look at the girl's outfit and overall appearance.
With a quick glance, Darius noticed that she seemed to be around the same age as him as her features were quite well developed even if he couldn't see them well with that large white cloth that was covering the entirety of her body.
But, still, with that wide piece of cloth, Darius was able to see those melons quite well which indicated that they really were big.
"I don't know, you didn't seem to fit in," she said, making sure that he could see her looking at his overall appearance just like he had just done.
"Vampires aren't allowed inside here," then, added the girl as she began to push him out of the Church clearly displeased by him being here.
'Vampire? Is it because of my eyes?' thought Darius, unsure as to why she would say that.
"I'm not a vampire though," uttered Darius, calmly not raising his tone or anything like that.
Then, the girl who had begun to kick him out once again gave Darius a quick look.
"You're not? But that doesn't make sense," muttered the girl.
Then, after looking intensively at Darius for a couple of seconds she backed off, realizing that she had indeed been wrong.
"You are right, then please I will show you around," said the girl as she started to go right down the middle of the Church Darius could see multiple statues of Gods being destroyed with a single one in perfect condition in the middle of it.
'I guess that statue is the one of Rengar,' thought Darius, based on the information given by Ashe earlier.
Then, as Darius and the girl started to move toward the statues, multiple people started to give them weird looks observing Darius with a lot of attention.
Darius also noticed something, everyone in this Church was a human, there was no sight of any other races which he had seen on the streets. It seemed that they weren't allowed in here.
Darius ignored why, but they seemed worried about something.
He also heard murmurs around him but decided to ignore them as he couldn't even understand them a little.
"Alright, so here are the statue of our beloved god, Rengar. Do you know about him and his majestic history?" said the girl, almost having stars in her eyes because of how much she valued him.
'What's that anger?' thought Darius, as the rage inside him resurfaced once again as that name was mentioned.
But, he once again dismissed that as he didn't think that it was worth his attention.
Darius who heard her question was obviously pleased as he longed to learn more and more about the world that was surrounding him.
"No, but can you tell me about it?"
The girl then revealed a big smile on her face with a lot of enthusiasm.
"Of course, I can, do you want the short version or the long one?" she exclaimed, bubbling with excitement.
Darius looking at her, decided to go with the short version as he had a feeling that the long version would be long, very long.
"The short one... alright then," said the girl, seemingly disappointed by Darius's choice.
"Well, the story of Rengar is quite simple, he is the one who reigned supreme over all the others," said the girl, as he pointed at all the statues which were destroyed.
'Don't tell that's it,' thought Darius, thinking that maybe he should have taken the long version.
However, she wasn't finished as she continued talking about Rengar, her god, the one who had done everything for her it seemed.
"You see, Rengar is the God of everything, no one will ever be able to surpass him. He had started as a weak individual, roaming around this world as nothing more than a mortal just like all of us right now. But, something magical happened as he was the first being to be given the system," explained the girl.
'He was a mortal? He was the one who got the first system?' thought Darius, not expecting it at all.
"However, he was the only one who had gotten it. No one else got access to it, he was the sole being who could be called an Awakened."
"However, he didn't like being the only one special which is why he got stronger and stronger, to the point where no one could rival with him. Even Gods would be bowing when they saw him, recognizing him as the strongest being."
"And even after all those years, he hadn't forgotten his purpose for becoming this strong, as he looked on the small world which he came from, granting them his power. Well, a part of it, he gave us the possibility to access a system."
Then, Darius waited for a little for her to continue, but it seemed that she was done as she had closed her mouth, looking at Darius waiting for him to talk.
However, he didn't react instantly as his mind was full of thoughts roaming around.
But then, he dismissed those as he thought something.
"Can you prove anything that you just said?" asked Darius, as he was quite perplexed, he didn't know whether or not to believe the girl.
