Spencer Sullivan's footsteps stopped in place as he looked at Yvonne Young.
"If Mr. Sullivan's mother is an unforgivable person, would he turn against his own family?"
He recalled the question Yvonne had asked him, and the foot that was about to step inside the door could not muster the courage to move forward.
Just then, Yolanda ran out of the room, barefoot, and seeing Spencer, she smiled happily, "Uncle."
She ran to Spencer, holding his hand, trying to pull him inside.
Spencer looked down at Yolanda's happy face, and a wave of regret surged in his heart. He thought of how Yvonne had managed to save Yolanda under such difficult circumstances.
She came back to find him at all costs, almost losing her life to save Yolanda from his own mother's hands. What right did he have to ask her to turn the page on the car accident two years ago?
With Yolanda present, Yvonne suppressed her emotions. She whispered to Yolanda, "Go call Sandra out for dinner."
