Who could resist the tenderness in that voice? Yvonne Young's fatigue instantly vanished as she bent over to pick up Sandra, and said to Penny Wendelle, "Aunt Pearce, you should go to sleep now. I'll take her upstairs."
Once in the room, she headed straight for the tub and placed Sandra inside.
The little girl filled the tub with bubbles and happily played in it. As Yvonne tried to wash her neck, the dangling bunny pendant got in the way.
She attempted to remove it, but the little girl protected it vigilantly, "Mine."
As if someone was trying to steal it from her.
Yvonne rolled her eyes, "No one's trying to take it away."
She gave up.
"Bunny, shiny."
Sandra twisted the bunny's ears, and the bunny shone brightly, with the colors changing continuously.
Yvonne was amazed. The bunny pendant had lights inside it. Very fancy and extravagant indeed.
But it was good to look at anyway.
Watching the flashing bunny, Sandra happily splashed the bubbles in the tub."
