Mandy Carter was escorted by two female prison guards to the visitor's window. Seeing the man standing on the other side of the glass, her dim expression instantly brightened.
"Spence."
She broke free from the guards and pressed herself against the glass.
Remembering, she quickly picked up the phone.
Spencer Sullivan also reached for the phone and put it to his ear.
"Spence, I didn't cause Yvonne Young's car accident."
As always, Mandy insisted on her innocence, while Spencer, as usual, remained silent, giving her only a cold stare.
She gritted her teeth, and her voice rose again. "But there's something I can tell you now. I staged my own car accident eight years ago, nobody raped me. It was all a trap to frame Yvonne."
After two years in prison, she'd had enough. There was no hope left, anyway. "You sent her to prison for me, and I was so touched. Guess how wronged Yvonne felt?"
"Hahaha..."
Mandy's happy laughter transmitted through the phone to Spencer's ear.
