A subtle smile curled up at the corner of his mouth.
Yvonne Young didn't linger and went back to the kitchen, carrying Ginger tea to drink on the sofa. It was so hot that she could only sip it in small sips.
"You cannot eat ginger at night."
Suddenly, Spencer Sullivan rushed out of the room barefoot, looking frantic.
"Uh..." Yvonne Young was so startled that she almost threw the bowl away.
Spencer Sullivan snatched the bowl from her hand and scolded her loudly, "Don't you have any common sense?"
His voice echoed throughout the house.

Yvonne Young was confused... You cannot eat ginger at night...
"Eating ginger at night is like eating arsenic."
These words her grandmother once told her suddenly popped into her head. She chuckled, but seeing Spencer Sullivan looking so serious, she quickly covered her mouth, "You... you don't really believe that eating ginger at night is like eating arsenic, do you?"
