Year after year, the gods now tortured by madness, found themselves contemplating their own existence. For what do we exist for? What is our purpose? Who created us? Is there a higher being?
What is strength?
The gods that had lacked desire, with the exception of the god of desire themself, now wished for something more.
We wish to be free from the madness that has been inflicted upon us. But how?
And in pursuit of an answer to this question…
The Heavenly Crusade had begun.
In the depths of the mortal lands, madness had begun to fester. The humans who had only worshiped their own lives had now found salvation from the chaos that infected their world.
The first of its kind, a god unlike the rest. The god of salvation, Salvros. A god created by the desperation of humanity, and one that was born directly from madness.
"How pitiful, you poor creatures. I shall be your salvation." She said with tears streaming down her face. A beautiful woman, the personification of salvation and escapism. Perhaps madness had its uses after all.
Humans began to worship her, and created buildings in her honor. And eventually, religion was formed.
Many people preached her gospel, and took it upon themselves to spread her holiness.
The Holy Crusade had begun.
Madness brought chaos, and chaos brought change. The gods which were stagnant began to change, for better or worse. And the humans, who's greed knew no bounds, began to spread like a disease.
But the cause of all this was in isolation, perhaps they would be laughing at the humans for their stupidity, and cursing the gods for their change. And yet they did nothing. So the gods took it upon themselves to find the god of emotion.
And like many other things, it was the domino effect that toppled the tower.
They were killed.
And a war was raged against Kaizer.
