They started renovating their village. They laid the tubes for water to flow around the village so that they will have a proper water system. The tubes were made of clay and they will just put something that blocks the water if the jar or tank is full. The tube runs throughout the whole village so every household has access to water. They also opened a pool for public use for tourist attractions. Public toilets were maintained and there were soldiers roaming around to check the cleanliness of the village.
Everything is set; there are restaurants that serve their very own food and dishes; there is also a fancy restaurant owned by Dodong, some fancy store to eat snacks and sweets, a public toilet for people to use, a store for clothes, and a bank like building to exchange money that is used in the village, and some other establishments and attraction.
People need to pay a toll as they enter the village so that they will have a budget for the maintenance of the village. Upon entering, they will be directed by the guards to proceed to the bank to exchange their goods or gold for money to be used as their currency.
When people come to their village, they cannot believe their eyes that such a majestic village exists. The majestic walls exude pride that no enemies can ever invade. The gate has patterns that show their culture. Entering the gate, People with beautiful dresses are everywhere and there are markets and stores, even public toilets. Their houses and buildings are well built; made of bricks and manifest their wealth and pride. People have their own farmlands here; vegetables and livestock. This is new to them because most of them are still hunting although some are raising livestock.
"Woa!" You can hear the amazement of the visitors in the village. They can't believe their eyes. People were lining up first at the bank to exchange their gold for money. They were taught the value of each currency such as Malubai is worth 2 pesetas, Bielu worth 3 pesetas, Linguingi worth 4 pesetas, and Oregeras worth 5 pesetas and is the highest value. After exchanging money, visitors can now explore the village and buy the things they want and enjoy the delicious food that only this village can offer.
There are guides everywhere and visitors can pay them as their guides in the village.
You can see that people are eyeing the clothes and flocking to the store. Attendants were so busy catering to the customers that they needed to close the store to cater to those who are inside first. The restaurants and the stores for snacks are all packed with people too. The estimated number of people including the villagers is around one thousand and they did not anticipate it. Their village probably is known outside. Guards were busy patrolling around to secure the safety of the people and the cleanliness of the village.
"Hey stop! What are you doing here in the alley? What are you about to do?" the soldier shouted at the two visitors who were in the alleyway. They were about to poop << --- evil laughter --- >> These people don't have the concept of a toilet. The guard instructed them that if they want to use the toilet, there are public toilets that they can use and the guard pointed them out. These visitors are ignorant of many things.
People can hire a guide or they can rent a Kalesa, a carriage run by a horse to roam around the village. They thought that kalesa is only for nobles. The kalesa of the nobles can be distinguished from common kalesa. Theirs have symbols of their household and the carriage is very stylistic and the wheels are plated with gold.
"How much is the rent for kalesa?" a visitor asked the driver. "One Bielu for a day" the driver responded. This is already considered a big amount of money. You can eat as much as you want in an ordinary restaurant with that amount. However, the one who rented it out is from a noble family of some unknown village. When people heard this, some also rented kalesas. The villagers' livelihood was alive and many people earned a lot of money.

"So beautiful. Where do they come from? The woman who has a veil wrapped on her face is very elegant. Those dazzling gold necklaces and bracelets are from nobles for sure." People are murmuring. Santonilyo is very beautiful. Her complexion is fair and her dress is majestic. Some men dining fell in love with her.
"Look at that man; he is so gorgeous. I want to marry him." Women at the restaurant giggling.
"So, how is it Santonilyo? It's really up to your expectation, right?" Pahulangkog asked her.
"The steak is so tender and delicious. It feels like it's melting on my tongue. Let's ask for take-out." He added.
<< ---- I like these gods ----- >>
The council of elders and the nobles praised Datu and his family especially Dodong for the development they didn't imagine. Hearing this, Dodong was satisfied and ecstatic. From then on, they open their village to other people. They also accept workers from other villages because everyone in their village has their own business and some are working and they are earning well.
Months have passed and people are growing in number. Their residential areas are almost occupied.
"Aaaaahhhh! Someone has died." a scream from someone. The body is so pale that blood has been extracted. Some body parts were missing and there were bite marks on some parts. A part of a hand was separated and eaten. The guards thought it was an attack from a beast so they patrolled looking for a beast. They didn't find the beast that did it. They instructed the people to report if there is something suspicious lurking around the village. Another night had passed and the same incident happened. The patrols cannot find the beast doing this. They instructed the people to take care of themselves and refrain from going out during the night. Dead bodies keep on appearing every night and the people are panicking. Some weird rumors are circulating that probably it was done by an Aswang, a mythical creature in Philippine mythology.
Dodong heard this and is doubtful of the rumors however he remembered that something was tailing him when he was at the forest. It was when the sun has set that he felt an eerie feeling that creeps him out.
"How will I find it? Will I be able to fight it?" Dodong was hesitant and afraid at the same time because this creature does not exist in his universe.
