"Naomi Verset?"
Amaris said the name with a slight frown as Naomi looked at the Diane Reinahart she had killed and then at the two people in front of her.
When Dante and Amaris looked where she was looking, they didn't expect to see Diane Reinhart dead, so they looked at her with wide eyes.
"Guess I'm busted, huh!"
Dante and Amaris remained alert as Naomi smiled awkwardly. Diane Reinhart was a hunter with the rank of SSS. They were confused because they never thought she would die, and Naomi - if that was her real name - had killed Diane Reinahart.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Naomi and I am an SS+ ranked hunter of the Duncan family," she said, pointing to a spot next to her. "I came to protect the young master, but I'm afraid I'm too late. As you can see, I've taken her lifeless body and I'm taking her back to her family."
Amaris let her guard down at her words and Dante glared at her.
