When Amaris entered Douglas' office, she saw that her father was watching the news. He was still watching the coverage of yesterday's explosion.
"How many times are you going to watch the same thing?"
Amaris sat in the armchair across from her father, looking at his pleasant face in exasperation. She poured coffee into one of the cups on the table and drank it.
"Until I get bored, I guess," he murmured, rolling her eyes at him. Douglas looked at his daughter with interest at Amaris' indifference to the news.
"Giles thinks Cale was reckless. What are your thoughts on the matter?"
Amaris paused at the sudden question from her father and looked at Douglas.
"Well, I think it's not wrong to say that he was reckless. It's foolish of him to believe that he can just destroy everything and not be noticed," she said nonchalantly and leaned back.
