As the sun was slowly setting, Cale was studying in front of his computer in a room illuminated by the afternoon sun. After all the rushing around, studying normal lessons was like a rest for him.
Among other things, exams would soon be starting. Cale had to maintain his ranking by doing well at least in theory. He already believed that he would pass in practice, but if he scored low in theory, his ranking would drop and he would have to leave this room.
Normally a low score was not a big deal for him, but he knew that this was the only training room that could withstand him when he was working with chaos energy. He was not eager to leave this secluded environment where he could work exactly the way he wanted.
When the phone on his desk rang, Cale put down his pen and picked it up.
"Hey hello!"
Fredrich greeted him with a smile.
"Hi, it looks like you have some good news," he said, and Fredrich's smile widened.
