"Well, the 3rd method is actually the easiest one, as it had no risks or dangers. But, I think you might not like this method" John patiently explained.
"It doesn't matter, atleast tell the method John". Maria requested earnestly.
Miss Lena and Headmaster were also curious about the method which has no risks at all.
"So, the 3rd method is seduction" John declared without any suspense at all.
Maria was confused about the method but Miss Lena and Headmaster had a inkling about what it's about?
"John, Don't tell me it's what I think it is!?" Miss Lena asked with an edge in her tone.
"Well, I don't know what you thinking about, but it's most probably is!" John answered shamelessly.
"How the hell can you even think about such a disgusting method John". Headmaster questioned John with disappointment.
"Well, Headmaster I have only said that it's a possibility and it's up to her whether she uses this method or not?". John patiently explained himself.
"W- wait wait wait, Could you guys please stop talking in codes? And can somebody explain me about, what this seduction method is!?" Maria anxiously asked not willing to be kept in suspense any longer.
"Huh...!, What John is saying is basically, You go and seduce some rich young master, become his maid or concubine or even better become his wife. And then wring him dry of his money by making him hopelessly fall in love with you. And then increase your talent by taking advantage of that rich guy's resources". Miss Lena sighed tiredly and explained seriously to Maria, so as to frighten her from choosing this method.
"W-what!? That's sick." Maria blushed furiously upon understanding what John meant. And when she imagines herself doing that, she hurriedly shooks her head sideways in denial.
Even though she desperately wants to increase her talents, Their is no way she is going to sacrifice herself for that.
"Thank goodness, with how stubborn she was behaving, I was for a second afraid that, she will really try that method to increase her talent" Headmaster William sighed in relief and then glared at John: "Are your stupid methods over or is their still something left?"
Although Headmaster William said that to John in irritation but John took it pretty seriously.
"Well, their is one left but it's probably as bad as the 3rd one, moreover your talent will not increase by much from this. The last method is to become a loyal soldier of some strong family. All noble families nurture loyal soldiers and increase their talents upto Peak-silver and some extremely loyal and lucky ones have their talents increased upto Gold grade".
"Tsk, Don't tell me you want to recruit Maria in your family John!?". Headmaster William questioned John in irritation especially when John is repeatedly suggesting weird methods to a innocent student like Maria.
Headmaster has long been annoyed by it, and that's why He is trying to decrease John's image infront of Maria. Yep! Even though he is the Headmaster, it doesn't mean that He can't be petty.
"Yeah, maybe you also suggested the 3rd method to get inside Maria's pants?" Miss Lena also joined headmaster's little game, though the reason for her targeting John is merely amusement. Afterall, She doesn't care even if the world burns right infront of her eyes, if she is having fun from it.
After hearing both Headmaster William and Miss Lena's words, Maria looked towards John for answer as she at first thought that John was a nice person to hang out with but depending on his answer that may change her opinion of him.
John watched in amusement at how easily Headmaster and Miss Lena manipulated Maria. She really is full of innocence, though he doesn't know if it's good or bad for her.
"Oh please, do you people really think I will resort to such petty tricks!?" John arrogantly asked.
"Headmaster, Their is no need for me to trick Maria to become a loyal soldier of my family. My family doesn't lack loyal soldiers. And honestly, I don't want to offend but Maria just doesn't have the talents that will require me to personally recruit her. Their is a difference of heaven and earth in our social status ".
"And Miss Lena, You suspects that I tried to trick Maria so as to get inside of her pants, But Miss Lena aren't you forgetting who I am ? I am the son of Count Leon Bright, I can easily acquire as many beautiful women that I want. Heck, My own maid is as beautiful as Maria and more importantly she is even more talented than Maria. Did you really think I need to resort to such petty tricks to get her?" John arrogantly said the facts, that nobody present their can deny.
The small seed of doubt that appeared on Maria's mind vanished upon hearing such honest facts that John said. Seriously, she is a fool to even consider such an absurd possibility. Does someone of John's standing need to desire someone as inferior as her, when even his own maid is more talented than her.
Although, He said not to be offended but seeing the downcast eyes of Maria, He felt a bit guilty. Maybe he said a bit too much, even Miss Lena was hinting him to console Maria with her eyes. But, the problem is He doesn't know how to console Maria?
And He is afraid that whatever He says now can have an opposite effect, so he simply decided to say what's in his mind regardless of the effect it will have.
"Lastly, I don't deny that Maria is very beautiful and I wouldn't be a man if I am not attracted to her, but If I wanted Maria then I will simply court her like a gentleman and will win her heart. Their is no need to resort to such things ".
Hearing John calling her pretty and beautiful, Maria blushed and cutely covered her face with her hands. Her earlier inferior thoughts vanished like wind and seeing her like that, John has now confirmed that she is the epitome of innocent.
