____ They both froze and stared at the soldier. "I spoke too soon again" Darius sighed. The red soldier swinged his blade at them swiftly, Darius also managed to drew out his sword and began to fight back. "Run" he shouted at Angela. And she ran away. Darius continued to fight back. The red soldier then was able to land a solid kick which sent Darius flying, and cause him to hit a rock very hard. If it wasn't for his unpenetrable armour he would have died. The red soldier threw his blade at him, but Darius was quick to get up in his feet and dogded it. He threw a dagger at the soldier and ran away. Unfortunately, he ran in circle, and came back to where he left the soldier, "oh come on" he shouted , the red soldier ran towards him and started to throw punches at him , he was so swift ,Darius couldn't keep up. He tried to wake his armour but the armour was in deep sleep . Eventually, he lost balance, and fell down. As the soldier was about to stab him, Angela came "STOP" she shouted . The soldier looked at her and threw the blade at her , but some how he missed. Angela quickly got over the shock and ran away. The soldier chased her until they reached a dead end. Darius who had managed to get up and ran after them , tried to stab the soldier from behind but the soldier had sharp senses, and was swift to defend himself . He held Darius hand and twisted it , chasing Darius to scream in pain. Then he threw loads of punches at him, and then carried his blade to stab him. Then Angela brought out a flute and began to play it. The red soldier froze as he heard the mucic. It was getting dark and as it continued to get dark the red soldier mobility will stop. Angela kept playing the flute with her eyes closed. The red soldier tried to reach out to her but the effect of the night was getting the better of him, until he could no longer move. Angela stopped playing the flute and rushed to Darius's side, "are you okay ?" She asked worryly . Darius nodded his "how about you?", "I'm alright" she replied as she helped him get up. "What was that flute you played " he asked as he groaned in pain. "My father gave it to me, he said if l am ever in danger , l should play it and he would come to resque me" she said sadly , "don't be sad, look l think he did come to help" he pointed at the frozen soldier . Angela nodded her head in agreement,"yes he came to resque me just like he promised" . "Let's get going we don't know how long his effect on him will last or worst another one will appear" he dragged her leaving the frozen soldier behind. After walking and the area for a while , they finally found their way out. By the time they got back , it was morning. Almost everyone that survived are walking like zombies." They are all drained" said Angela. Darius nodded his head. "Darius you are not from around here , are you?" She looked at him curiously. Darius looked at her, he was surprised that she figured it out. "Yes l'm not" , " then why are you here? She asked curiously . " I am here to put an end to Lord Barcus's reign of terror" he said. "How are you planning to do that?" She asked. He fell silent for a while , that's the question he has been asking himself too but he just kept on going with the mindset that he will end Lord Barcus any how, any way . " To be honest l don't know the answer to that my self, but l do know that l will find and l will end him" he said with determination evident in him. Angela sighed " that would be very difficult , you know?" , " I know, but when there is a will there is a way" he said . " Okay whatever you do,.l would support you "she said. Darius patted her head "and l promise you that l would protect you no matter what" he smiled at her and she smiled back. They were still trekking to Angela's home , when they heard the blowing of a horn. " What!! Another war?"Darius exclaimed. "No, this one is to notify us that the generals are approaching and we should all bow to them as they pass" she explained . The generals in red armour rode through the city, and everyone bowed deeply to them. Darius took Angela to behind a building where the soldiers wouldn't see them . And watched them as they passed.
