*The Iruna Mountain*
A level 100 three-headed dragon appeared. I swung my sword through the wind, creating a powerful wind blade that struck the dragon's first head. In response, the dragon unleashed a laser beam from its mouth. I swiftly dashed and charged towards the dragon.
The dragon emitted a Heartstopper aura, rapidly decreasing my HP by 1% per second. This curse prevented me from regenerating health or using any healing potions, giving me only 99 seconds to finish the battle.
I executed a direct attack, skillfully weaving my sword towards the dragon while activating my unique skill, Sword Rush.
In that moment, time seemed to slow as I slashed my sword across the dragon's body, peeling off its skin. The dragon's HP plummeted from one hundred thousand to ten thousand, while I was left with a mere 20 HP.
Just as I prepared for a finishing blow, the dragon struck me with its sharp claw.
/ YOU DIED /
- NOOO! THIS BOSS IS SO FRUSTRATING! Well, I'll just reload the game before entering the dragon's lair. -
While navigating to the load section of the screen, I noticed something that startled me: there was no saved data!
I had been playing the game straight since morning and had forgotten to save...
- Sigh, maybe it's time to take a break...
I immediately navigated to the menu section.
/ LOGS OUT /
Standing up from my gaming chair, I felt both sleepy and hungry. Perhaps I should buy some food before going to sleep. I locked the door to my apartment and descended the stairs quietly, not wanting to wake up the landlords since I hadn't paid rent for 4 months.
Walking down the street, my vision suddenly blurred. A vast grass field appeared before my eyes. I rubbed my eyes, and then a flash of light from a passing car temporarily blinded me. In the next moment, I heard tires screeching and felt something crashing into my body. Dizziness and weakness overcame me, and I realized I had been hit by a truck before losing consciousness.
Then suddenly, I heard a robotic female voice.
--- System is online!!! ---
As I opened my eyes, I found myself in a vast grass field. I was quite confused about what had happened. The last thing I remembered was being hit by a truck, and now I couldn't feel my arms, legs, or even my genital area.
Out of nowhere, a screen materialized in front of me, resembling an RPG user interface. It displayed my HP, Mana, Skills, and inventory. However, what surprised me the most were the sections labeled "Race" and "Role," both of which were listed as unknown. To my amazement, I could navigate the screen's contents as if I were using a computer.
As I looked around, I saw people equipped with swords, bows, and staffs approaching. They appeared since they are bellowed of my normal eye level, and they seemed curious about me.
In an attempt to communicate, I tried to speak.
- CAR HONKING -
The people were suddenly startled by the blaring noise.
I was just as surprised as they were. Wait, why aren't words coming out of my mouth?
I attempted to speak again.
- CAR HONKING AGGRESSIVELY -
The people pointed their swords at me and began shouting while delivering strikes.
-- Monster!! --
- Wait, wait, I'm not a monster! - Instead of words, a loud honking sound came out whenever I tried to speak.
In that moment, I realized something unbelievable. Wait... I'm not a human. I've been resurrected as a truck!!!!!!
Faced with the people attacking me, I attempted to move my wheels slightly to show that I wasn't a threat. However, a sudden loud scream pierced the air, originating from the man who was holding a sword.
A sickening sensation followed as I felt something squishy beneath my wheels. Looking down, I saw the ground stained with blood and realized that I had inadvertently crushed the man's legs with my wheels.
Panicking, I hastily reversed, releasing the man's legs from beneath my wheels.
I'm sorry! - (Honking aggressively) -
But then, another scream echoed across the grass field. While trying to reverse, I accidentally bumped into the woman holding the staff, causing my wheels to collide with her body.
Oh, sorry, I didn't mean that - (Honking) -
The man with the bow began firing arrows at me, yet his arrows failed to penetrate my metal body. Attempting to escape, I started to drive away from them, but I unintentionally hit the swordsman again, this time fatally which killed the man. The archer broke into tears while trying to pull the swordsman from beneath my body.
Just then, the screen materialized in my field of vision.
/ LEVEL UP /
A female robotic voice spoke once again.
--- Unique Skill Mechanical Arm Obtained ---
Suddenly, two large mechanical arms emerged at the back of my cabin.
I hurriedly attempted to help the man with the bow by using my mechanical arm to pull the swordsman out from under my wheels. The sword appeared to be lodged in the rim of my wheels, so I applied more force, inadvertently causing the sword to fly into the air. Tragically, the sword impaled the man with the bow as it descended, causing him to kneel and died.
Meanwhile, the woman with the staff crawled away in desperation, no doubt traumatized by the loss of her party member. Suddenly, an arrow shot from a distance found its mark in the woman's back. A horde of goblins emerged on the horizon, consisting of thousands, including hobgoblins and a goblin lord.
Despite witnessing the deaths of three humans, i haven't feel anything maybe because I'm not human anymore.
With a thought, I tried to summon the screen again, and to my astonishment, it materialized before me. My level had risen to level 2, and I noticed a question mark icon on the side of the screen. Upon selecting it, a female voice began to speak.
--- Assistance Activated ---
--- My name is Alex. What would you like me to address you as? ---
- Call me "Daddy"! -
--- That was quite inappropriate ---
- Okay, fine. Call me "Mater" -
--- Very well, Master. ---
- Can you navigate to the skill section? -
--- Of course! ---
A list of skills promptly appeared on the screen. There was an extensive range of choices, including unique mechanical skills, basic human skills, and magical abilities. Among them, I spotted a unique skill named "Mini Gun," which aligned with my expectations.
I attempted to unlock the Mini Gun skill, only to be interrupted by Alex.
--- Your skill points are insufficient to unlock this skill yet. The Mini Gun requires five skill points to unlock, and you currently have only acquired 2 skill points by killing those two humans. ---
- How many skill points can I acquire for each creature I kill? -
-- You can acquire only one skill point per creature you kill. --
Given that there were an estimated ten thousand goblins in my vicinity, eliminating them all would grant me 10,000 skill points.
IT'S SHOWTIME! - (HEAVILY HONKING)
I wasted no time and accelerated towards the goblin horde at full speed. My bumper collided with the smaller goblins, instantly killed them. As their numbers dwindled, my level rapidly increased from level 2 to level 9.
Alex, unlock Mini Gun! -
--- Are you sure you want to spend 5 points to unlock Mini Gun? ---
Without a moment's hesitation, I confirmed - YES! -
/ Gatling Gun Activated /
A Gatling gun materialized at the roof of my cabin, just as I had anticipated. I aimed the weapon in the general direction of the goblins and unleashed a barrage of bullets. The goblins, unfamiliar with such firepower, scrambled to escape, but the bullets were much swifter than they were.
--- Master, do you need aim assistance? ---
- Sure, why not? -
A crosshair appeared in my vision, allowing me to effortlessly target the goblins. The Gatling gun continued to fire in all directions, each shot precisely aimed thanks to the assistance.
The hobgoblins surged forward, their large forms appearing smaller in comparison to my truck body. Seizing the opportunity, I rammed into them at full speed, sending the foremost hobgoblin hurtling towards the goblin lord's face.
The goblin lord reacted swiftly, grabbing and crushing the hobgoblin's head before hurling the lifeless body towards me. Immediately, the goblin lord charged toward me, and smaller goblins clung to my wheels in an attempt to hinder my movement. Determined, I drove directly at the goblin lord.
The smaller goblins holding onto my wheels met a swift and unfortunate fate. My cabin collided with the goblin lord, and he gripped onto both sides of it in an effort to stop me. Swiftly, I veered my wheels to the left, unbalancing the goblin lord and causing him to crash to the ground. Taking advantage of the situation, I reversed, crushing his body beneath my wheels.
Meanwhile, the smaller goblins began to climb onto my back. using my mechanical arm, I deftly picked them off one by one, then thrown them towards the remaining hobgoblin.
The goblin lord struggled to stand, but I swiftly put an end to his efforts by accelerating at full speed and crushing his head with my wheels, ending his life instantly.
With the goblin lord defeated, the lesser goblins and hobgoblins began to scatter in fear. However, I wasn't about to let them escape. I sped around the field, encircling the goblins in the middle and preventing any escape routes. The Gatling gun roared to life once again, mowing down any goblin that attempted to flee. My wheels crushed those who dared to escape my gunfire.
As the hours passed i eliminated all the goblins in the vicinity, to my surprise, my level skyrocketed from level 9 to level 41 overnight....
Meanwhile, as the sun began to rise, a group of adventurers led by Lingzhi ventured into the grassy field. Their peaceful exploration was suddenly interrupted by a horrifying sight – the once-green grass field had turned crimson, littered with goblin bodies. Among them lay a woman with an arrow lodged in her back, visibly awake but completely devoid of sanity...
