Chapter 2 - Red Head Witch

The humor about the individual who slew the goblin lord and his horde spread like wildfire across the human continents. Some hailed him as a hero, crediting him with saving the "Illusha" Kingdom, which lay near the Ilish Plains where the incident had occurred against the horde of the goblins. While others, however, viewed him as a monstrous presence, a greater threat than demons.

Meanwhile, Shiro journeyed through the dense forest of "Viridis," a terrain located 120 km away from the Ilish Plains. He had acquired the lumberjack skills, which manifested as a chainsaw integrated into his bumper. As he drove, the trees in his path were instantaneously felled, allowing him to carve a path through the forest with ease.

All the trees he cut down were immediately transferred into his inventory. Thanks to his mastery of the lumberjack skills, the wood he acquired was automatically transformed into usable wooden planks.

As I gazed at my inventory, it was now filled to the brim with neatly stacked wooden planks. This scenario felt more like to a resurrection in the world of Mindcraft than in an RPG. However, if I'm being honest, I never expected the whole "getting hit by a truck" thing to actually be real. Though it's a popular trope on Earth, where the male protagonist gets struck by a vehicle only to be resurrected as a powerful being surrounded by multiple charming heroines, AND HERE I AM RESSURECTED AS A F*CKING TRUCK!!,

But wait!!, what if I'm merely a protagonist from an anime, manga or light novels? Nah, that's probably not the case. It just doesn't add up. After all, I possess the ability to think independently, unlike a scripted marionette manipulated by an author.

Suddenly, a piercing scream shattered the air not too far away.

Alex, can you pinpoint the source? -

-- Certainly, the sound originates approximately 250 meters to the north of your current location. --

Without hesitation, I steered myself towards the north, soon arriving at a cliff's edge. Down below, an adept swordsman relentlessly swung her blade at a horde of trolls. her ears, notably pointed, indicated that she was an elf, she has green colored hair and shining blue eyes. By his side, two heavily wounded elves clung to survival. Given my position, descending was a challenge, so I observed from above, racking my mechanical brain for a solution to reach them.

The elf exhibited a remarkable mastery of swordplay, taking down ten out of the twenty-three trolls with finesse. However, her energy seemed to dwindle, causing her movements to gradually slow down. In an unexpected twist, a larger, blue-skinned troll emerged onto the scene—a formidable creature known as the Greater Troll. Despite their slow movement , the force behind each of the greater troll's attacks was immense, brimming with lethal intent

The ground trembled with every strike from the greater troll, putting the three elves in great danger. With limited options available, I had no choice but to leap from the cliff. However, I needed to strategize carefully. Jumping straight down would likely to become a dead truck.

Energy conservation is the key. If I initiated a slight rotation before I jump, that rotation could persist as I descended. This might aid in landing on my wheels. Nevertheless, I had to calculate my speed precisely to avoid excessive spinning.

My potential energy from the cliff's height would transform into kinetic energy during the fall, accelerating my descent. To execute a successful landing, I had to ensure that my initial rotation harmonized perfectly with my falling speed. Wait a minute—when did I become this smart?

- Never Mind Here i go!! - (HEAVILY HONKING)

- EXCUSE ME MOTHER F*CKERS - ( HONKING !! )

As I jump from the cliff, the loud honking sounds surprised the trolls and the elf. They looked up and saw my large metalic body coming down. I landed right where the Blue-skinned troll was standing, which made the impact of my fall less intense and also took out the greater troll.

The elf left standing was shocked by what happened. She pointed her sword at me, thinking I was a monster. Suddenly, the 13 other trolls attacked me. I quickly pointed the gatling gun toward them and started shooting. The bullets made holes in their bodies, which killed them instantly.

The noise from the gun startled the elf.

As the smoke cleared, the elf's weapon fell from her trembling hand, her face etched with fear. Her legs quivered with trepidation. Employing my mechanical arms, I carefully lifted the two injured elves who had fallen. Utilizing my "Greater Heal" ability, I initiated a healing process for both of them.

The elf who had been engaged in battle against the Greater Troll earlier stood there in astonishment. The two previously wounded elves regained consciousness unexpectedly, rising to their feet. With swords now pointed in my direction, then they began speaking in a foreign language.

- Alex, can you help me translate what she's saying? -

--- Of course! To facilitate communication, I've installed a language module into your system. Additionally, with the Thought to Speech (TTS) module, you can generate sounds similar to human speech, enabling effective communication with them. ---

- Wait, something like that exists? Why didn't you mention it earlier? Install it quickly! -

The elves began to argue in front of me.

-- This isn't an enemy; this creature healed both of you. --

- That's right, I'm not a monster! -

The three elves were taken aback by the sound of my voice. The two previously unconscious elves started to shout in fear.

-- A TALKING MONSTER! Wait, how do you know our language? Are you from the elven continent? --

- Nope, I'm from... - I struggled to think of a place -

- I'm from Wcdonalds... -

-- Wcdonalds? --

- Yes, a distant place! -

As I observed the three of them closely, I noticed their striking resemblance to each other.

-- I'm Asha, and these two are my twins Ishi and Esha. We're from the elven continent, -- the elf who had faced the Greater Troll earlier introduced herself.

- Nice to meet you. My name is Shiro, and I'm a peace-loving truck. - They're triplets that explain why they look exactly like others. -

-- Truck? What in the world is that? -- Esha asked in confusion.

Suddenly, a spear hurtled towards Asha from behind. Acting swiftly, I used my mechanical arm to catch the spear before it could strike her. Just then, a red-haired woman appeared on the scene.

-- ELVES! So you three are responsible for destroying the Viridis Forest! -- the red-haired woman accused.

-- WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, YOU NORTHERN WITCH LINGZHI!!! -- Esha retorted.

Ishi's body trembled, and she began to cry, yet she continued to wield her sword with remarkable skill, launching a masterful attack on Lingzhi.

Asha soared through the air, expertly launching her own assault against Lingzhi. The three of them exhibited a seamless and harmonious fighting style. Their lightweight swords allowed them to swiftly transition from one attack to another, creating a relentless barrage of strikes.

The trio attacked in perfect synchronization, denying Lingzhi any opportunity to catch her breath. They skillfully utilized the forest terrain, leaping and hopping onto tree branches to launch attacks. Their diminutive statures made them adept at maneuvering through such an environment.

Suddenly, an army of twelve spear-wielding individuals emerged on the scene, rushing to aid Lingzhi. However, just as each spearman approached, Lingzhi stopped them , a sly grin forming on her face.

In a strategic maneuver, Lingzhi shifted the tide of battle in her favor. Swiftly, she deflected each of the elves' sword strikes with her own spear. She exhibited remarkable athleticism, showcasing her agility by throwing her spear towards Asha.

Asha attempted to block the incoming spear, but Lingzhi's rapid movement caught her off guard. Lingzhi managed to catch her spear mid-flight just before it struck Asha's sword. With a fluid motion, she swung the spear, striking Asha's body and sending her hurtling toward the trees. Lingzhi nodded toward the spear-wielding men who had joined her, and they surged forward, intent on finishing Asha off.

Seeing the threat, I immediately steered my wheels and accelerated toward Asha. My collision with the spear-wielding men was forceful, shattering their bones on impact.

Lingzhi, recognizing the danger, dashed toward me, attempting to strike me with her spear. Her efforts were in vain, as her weapon failed to penetrate my metallic body, resulting in her spear shattering into pieces.

-- What kind of monster is this! -- she exclaimed in frustration.

She grabbed the fallen spears of her comrades and used them to fend off the continued attacks from Ishi and Esha.

Taking the opportunity, I scooped up Asha and promptly healed her injuries. As the sun began to set, casting a veil of darkness over the surroundings, I switched on my headlights. However, the sudden brightness dazzled Lingzhi, Ishi, and Esha, momentarily blinding them. Seizing the chance, Ishi and Esha managed to penetrate Lingzhi's defenses, striking her body with their swords.

Lingzhi knelt and collapsed to the ground. Asha approached her cautiously, intending to finish the battle, but before she could draw near, Lingzhi swiftly rose to her feet, hurled her spear at Asha, and then swiftly fled the scene.

- Who was that? - I inquired.

-- That was Lingzhi, a Diamond-class adventurer. She's also a princess from the northern kingdom of Azteroth. She possesses a unique skill called "9 Lives," which allows her to resurrect after a fatal blow, - Ishi responded.

As the moon graced the sky with its beauty, I marveled at the three moons present, each exhibiting its distinct color. The largest, resembling a wheel of cheese, shone in a warm yellow hue, while a smaller green moon and another red one added to the celestial spectacle.

-- Thank you for your assistance, Shiro. We must return to the elves' continent. The human continent is riddled with danger, - Asha acknowledged.

How about riding on my back? I can ensure your safe journey back to the elves' continent.

-- No, I'd rather walk than ride on this... monster! - Esha retorted.

Ishi, on the other hand, suddenly leaped onto my back and settled in for a nap.

Asha's smile held a tinge of mischief as she glanced at Esha.

-- Alright, maybe enduring a day of riding won't be so bad, - Esha conceded.

- Alex, how far is the elves' continent? -

--- The elves' continent lies on the opposite edge of the human continent, approximately 11,000 kilometers to the south. --

Wow, that's quite a distance. It might take a full 15 days of travel to reach the elves' continent. As the three of them quickly fall asleep, I embarked on our expedition, the road stretching ahead like an uncharted tale waiting to unfold....
