I woke up instantly. I was flabbergasted and left me a blank expression while I was touching my body checking for wounds.
"What the hell happened...?"
I still wouldn't believe what was happening, as the shock of being instantly incinerated still being felt all over my body.
"AAAAAAHH!"
That familiar high-pitched scream woke up my senses. I tried to move away but I found myself kneeling down and not able to move my body. My body is still stunned from dying earlier.

"So even the notifications get reset and this immortality skill... doesn't seem like the dictionary version I know."
I opened the system and checked my stats.
"Ah, it went back to level 2... wait... my stats?..."
I couldn't believe it, my stats retained and only my level got reset to the level I was when I arrived here. Also, a mission tab appeared next to the inventory. I checked my skills hoping that I also retained them, but only the {Immortality} skill is there.
"So, did the system deem it unfair to keep the skills?"
Honestly, it makes sense. I let out a sigh of relief and lied down.
"HELP MEEEE! AAAAAAH!"
"Haha, they wouldn't even let me catch a breather."
I stood up, and looked on the direction of the scream and I saw the goblins with a mage slowly approaching me. I smiled from ear to ear for I am relieved to be able to see them again. With my stats being retained I can easily kill them now, besides there's only one mage so it's not much of a threat.
The goblin mage cast a barrier on all three of the goblins.
"Hmmm, so it can only use one skill at a time huh? So it ain't much of a threat when it's alone after I kill these three."
I started running towards their direction as I take advantage of the goblin's carelessness and arrogance. I punch one of the goblins to disrupt it and grabbed the sword behind its back. I pushed the goblin away and start hacking and slashing on the other two goblin who were shocked to see what happened. I didn't give them time to draw their swords. With my stats, I easily broke through this one layer of barrier and cut both of them in half.

{Congratulations, you leveled up! Lv. 2 > Lv. 4}
I know already without even looking that what I gained is the {Shellbreak} skill. Then I rushed the last goblin and thrusted the sword to it's heart and luck was on my side, the {Shellbreak} skill activated and instantly destroyed the barrier so it immediately stabbed through its chest.

As I pull out the sword, I looked at the goblin mage's frustrated face with a large grin on my face. It was still stunned on what happened and I walked slowly towards it CONFIDENTLY! I know even if it casts fireball I could dodge it. While I was closing in, I figured I should allocate my stats. So I put 10 on Agility and 5 on Strength.
"Kekekeke, I'm going thief build on this one."
Yes, like those RPG class who focuses on speed and damage. I tested out how fast I am after increasing my Agility by a lot, I dashed and I went past the goblin by a few meters.
"Too fast," I muttered to myself with a shock face.
The goblin mage started casting fireball and to me, it felt slow now. I dodged and weaved circling around the mage.
"Maybe I could take on the 5 Goblin mage later on with these stats," as I said to myself while being on cloud nine. I dashed toward the mage and sliced through the neck making the head fly.

{Obtained Lv.2 Wooden Staff}
"Kinda disappointing, I thought it would give me much more exp." Feeling discontent with the exp but at least I gained an equipment.

- Magic +1
"Magic? Not intelligence? or maybe its the stat intelligence boost."
Either way I wanted to try something. I got {Shellbreak}
skill because of breaking barriers. This time I didnt even get {Slash}, so maybe if I swing my sword enough I would get it. Before all of that, I gathered bunch of leaves, sticks, and stones then I went on and find the giant tree stump I found in my first life.
"Funny how I casually mention dying and moving on as if it didn't happen," definitely something wrong with me. Nevertheless, with these sticks I gathered, I made a temporary storage box and used plant fibers to tie the sticks together. I made several of them and put the sticks, stones, leaves and wild berries that may or may not kill me when I eat them. I stacked them together and carried it on my back, then moved on to finding the giant tree stump. I got lost and its almost turning into night time. After wandering around mindlessly, I finally found it! I put down few of the boxes and climbed the stump while tying one box around my body to carry it to the top. I did this multiple times. After doing so, I started making a camp fire and used the stones to prevent the fire from spreading to this stump. I tried the berries I picked, luckily none of them were poisonous, maybe. Then I started to train with the sword and I wonder why this sword is not recognized as an item, or maybe it is? I opened my inventory and tried to put it in through the display and it works.
"Ah, it's an item. Maybe I just don't see its stats or whatever cause I dont have those Analytical Eyes."
{Normal / Lv.1 Short Sword}

" Wow, that's it? I should've grabbed the other swords earlier for spare. I'll start doing those next time."
Then I took it out and went on doing sword exercises. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal slashes is what I did all through the night. I got tired and it was still not morning even though it felt like hours already past by. I went and hit the hay to call it a night.
