My brain is really on a brink of shutdown but I'm still holding myself still just to accommodated this family.
"Everyone go back to your sleep now and you two, return to your posts. Hon, come with me, I have something to discuss with .you."
Everyone move out except for us.
"I want to see some magic, can you tell me about that later?"
Lieutenants face turns unpaintable, it seems like he didn't expect her to act like this.
"The magic won't run, you'll see it from the windows. Let's go now, I still have a lot of people to contact with. David, once again take care of him, if you do something rude to him you'll never received an allowance this month. I'll leave Archie to you."
He walks out along with her wife and leave the two of us.
"Uhmm... Can you show me a best place to paint something on the ground?" I hesitantly ask him.
"Does it really have to be a ground? We have our rooftop here, you can do your magic there." He suggested while smiling. It seems like he's not as stern as someone I know. My expectation for the son of a Chief of Military is really rude.
"Then let's do it there. Please guide me the way."
I pick up the can of paint and walk beside him.
"Let me carry it, I don't want to miss my allowance this month." He said while trying to get the paint from me.
"No no no, I think your father is just joking around hehe. He's not really gonna do it."
"Huh? Where did you get that idea? Of course he'll do it, he's that type of person after all."
Oh, yeah I forgot that he's father is one of the Lieutenants of the military. Of couse, he's bound to be strict somehow.

We entered the house which has deem light. The interior and design is kinda modern, and I could see a roomba cleaning the floor around.
We walk upstairs and he's I saw pictures of their family along the whole way.
I also confirm something in here. Fate really is a shitty thing. I didn't expect our fate to tangle up again somehow.
"By the way, where do you live?" David asks.
"I live in Matina."
"Oh so your from here? What are you doing in Bayugan City?"
"I kinda take school from far away to remove bad memories and enjoy being alone for a while."
"Ahh so you where taking a break from problems?" He asks and I just nod in response.
"How old are you by the way?"
"I'm 21 how about you?"
"I'm 25, you look too young than what your age suggests. I really thought that you are 18."
"Yeah, it's probably because I have feminine body compared to guys at my age. If some people call me who doesn't know me in reality, they will even call me Ma'am."
"Oh, unknown people calls you?" He Wondered.
"Hmm majority of them are delivery man of my parcels. But there where cases where my number gets everywhere and some tried calling it."
"Are you not offended?" He asks.
"Hmm.. not, I like it actually hahaha. Sorry to tell you this but I'm not straight."
I laugh gently to soften the mood.
"I kinda guess it already the way you carry yourself around. Don't worry it's not an issue to me."
"Yes yes, by the way are you graduate now?" I asked.
"Of course, I just didn't have a work now for months already since my father told me to stop it, and just study and train instead to pass the entry for special force."
"That's cool, so that explains it, you seems to like following your father's footsteps."
"Yes and no at the same time. I don't want office work like my father do. What I want is to be in the field and be deployed. But what do you mean by that explains everything?"
"Huh? Nothing, nevermind that."
"Come on, tell me already. You made me curious."
"Well, ok if you insist. Your training might explain the reasonings behind your muscles."
"Hahaha, you like it?"
"Huh? I expect you to creep out."
"Why would I? You complimented me. Now tell me do you like it?"
He said while flexing his biceps which made me look the other way.
"Please don't do that."
"I'll stop if you tell me that you like it." He gets closer to me and whisper to my ear which gave me a goosebumps.
I push him away a little and distance my self.
"Fine fine I like it. Just don't do that again, I am very vulnerable to attacks like that."
He straighten his posture and laugh.
"Hahaha that's good to hear."
What's so good about it?
I want to inquire but I have the feeling that I shouldn't. Silence followed after that and the only thing that I could hear is our footsteps.
We reach a door and he opened it. Behind it is a vacant and empty place. I couldn't see the ground below but the stars here from where I stand is amazing.
"Here we are. Are you planning on creating a barrier here?"
He asks.
"Yes, your father was worried about your safety so I offered him to do this." I said and I started to draw the magic circle on the ground.
"In return for what?" He asks. I stopped moving and look at him.
"Hmm? There's nothing to return to." I replied and continue what I'm doing.
"I know my father, I followed his steps and admired him since I was a kid. He's the type of person who wouldn't ask someone of something without the other party gets something from him in return." He said in a stern tone.
My very weakness.
"I actually just offered him to do this after he requested that. I didn't ask for anything in return nor he offered something." I said honestly.
"Did someone said to you that you are not that good at lying? You might fool amateurs by it but not me."
This guy is dangerous. His danger level is actually quite high. What kind of senses has this guy have?
"Like I said I did not lie to you. He just offered me to stay here tonight after performing my magic since my brain is already at its limit after casting a lot of consecutive spells. By the way I'm just barely holding myself from collapsing. If something where to happened to me please put a blanket at me in the very least."
I said calmly as I tried to divert the topic.
"You we're holding yourself pretty well. But I could already say that you we're tired the moment I laid my eyes on you. Don't worry about collapsing here, I'll take care of you. But tell me what you where hiding first."
He persisted and I look towards him. Our eyes met but his eyes didn't waver even for a slightest.
I conceded. I couldn't win against handsome guys.
"Fine I'll tell you everything. Your father actually wants me to be with your sister but as of the case of my gender, it's impossible." I said.
"What? He did that?" He asks in shocked.
"Just listen to me first ok. Since I can't be with your sister since it was impossible for us to work I told him something outrageous. "
"I think I can get the gist of it. But I still want to hear it from you."
"So I told him that if he has a son then maybe it's possible for him to get what he desires."
"Then?"
"Then he told me that he has two, he didn't know if you guys will be interested in me so he just told me that he'll introduce us to each other and if things works out the way he intended then he will welcome me and his son to the family but if it doesn't work the way he intend it to be then there's nothing he could do about it."
"Just how special are you for my father to be willing to accept his son becoming gay just to have you in the family?" He asks.
"You didn't know it but I know for myself that I am special among the awakens and your father could see it as well. I didn't mean to be boastful, I'm just stating the fact. Then after that I agreed to him and told him that he could use my name anytime he wants and he could also mobilize me for his political agenda."
"Are you even fine with that?" He asks in confusion.
"Yes, He's not forcing me or you guys in anything anyways. He just wants us to meet each other and he was hoping that we will like each other on our own terms. You could say that it's still up to us to decide our next course of action. What he only did was introduce us to each other that's all."
He nodded.
"I see, I guess I couldn't blame him or something since he's merely introducing us to each other. It's not like we are having an arrange marriage or something."
I nodded.
"Yes that's right. Since you know what's going on anyway then I have to tell you something as well."
I said. I just finished the magic cicle and decided to sit in the middle of it and just chat for a little more before activating it.
"Go tell me."
"Ehmm... Please don't tell your father about this but actually I have my plans."
"Oh, ok ok I won't tell him, so tell me more about it."
