As richard reached class "looks who's early again" Mr llahima said the whole class burst into laughter, their voices ringing in Richard's ears. 'You're the oldest, but you can't even lead by example,' Mr. Lahima said. 'You expect the people to respect you, but you don't even respect yourself enough to be on time.' Richard felt his face burn with embarrassment. He wanted to disappear, to sink into the ground and never have to face his classmates again."Submit your homework and go to your desk
"Richard's heart sank. 'I'm sorry, Mr. Lahima,' he stammered. 'I... I forgot about the assignment. I've been busy with work, and...' He trailed off, his words failing him. The truth was, he had been so overwhelmed by his responsibilities at home that he hadn't even thought about his schoolwork. He had barely slept in days, and he felt like he was barely keeping his head above water. How could he ever hope to succeed in school when his life was so chaotic?"
"Mr. Lahima looked at him with a mix of frustration and pity. 'I understand that you have a lot on your plate, Richard, but you have to understand that your education is important. If you don't finish high school, you're going to have a hard time finding a good job or making a decent living. I want you to succeed, but you have to make an effort to stay on top of your work.' Richard felt a wave of shame wash over him. He knew Mr. Lahima was right, but it was so hard to find the time and energy to focus on his studies.
As Mr. Lahima left the room, the whispers started up again, mocking Richard for his lack of intelligence. Richard tried to ignore the whispers and focus on his schoolwork, but it was hard to concentrate when everyone around him seemed to be against him. That's when he heard a familiar voice, "Hey Richard!" It was Tasha, the one person in school who had always been kind to him. "Hi Tasha," he replied, a smile spreading across his face. She was the only person who ever made him feel like he belonged.
Tasha's compassion for Richard was genuine, but it was also tinged with fear. She was afraid of what others would think if they saw her showing kindness to someone who was considered an outcast. This conflict of emotions left her feeling torn, and she found herself struggling to find the right balance between being true to herself and fitting in with the crowd.
Richard was hopeful that Tasha's kindness meant more than just friendship. He knew that if he had someone like Tasha in his corner, he could make it through the challenges of school. Not only that, but he also hoped that if he asked her to be his girlfriend, she would be able to help him with his schoolwork. He knew it was a long shot, but he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that she would say yes.
Richard was terrified, but also determined to take a chance on telling Tasha how he felt. He wrote out his feelings in a letter, pouring his heart onto the page. After school, he carefully placed the letter in Tasha's locker, hoping that she would find it the next day. He knew it was risky, but he felt like he had to take the chance. If she rejected him, he would be devastated, but at least he would know that he had tried.
The next morning, Richard could sense something was off as soon as he walked into school. People were staring and whispering, and there was a distinct change in the way they were treating him. It wasn't until someone called out, "Old dummy lover!" that he realized what had happened. The letter he had left for Tasha had somehow gotten into the wrong hands, and now everyone knew how he felt about her. He felt a rush of embarrassment and shame, wishing he could disappear.
Renly, the class clown and chief tormentor of Richard, sauntered over to his desk with a smirk on his face. "Hey, lover boy," he said, "I never knew that old dummies could fall in love too." The class erupted into laughter, and Richard felt like he was going to explode. He'd never been so humiliated, and it was happening in front of the whole class. Renly's smirk only widened as Richard struggled to keep his cool.
At that point he(Richard) looked at Tasha at her sit trembling and feeling pity for him Richard asked renly to give him the letter as he tried to take it from him, renly resisted "hey aren't you to old to be her father ??" Your not ashamed of yourself that she's smarter than you and then you wanna tarnish her, as he was about to finish the statement Richard has lunged at Renly and landed a solid punch to the face. The class erupted into chaos, with students screaming and shouting as Richard and Renly started to brawl. In the midst of the chaos.Richard was seen beating the hell out of Renly
the teacher entered the classroom, he was taken aback by the scene before him. He saw Richard and Renly in the midst of a brawl, with the rest of the class frozen in shock. Without asking any questions, the teacher rushed over and pulled Richard away from Renly.
"What's going on here?" the teacher demanded. "Richard, go to the principal's office. Renly, you too. And Tasha, come with me."
