"Yeah…no. I'm good. I choose not to be near you."
She said, walking away from him.
"See ya, Seb!"
"Well, if you go that way," Sebastian said, pointing to where she was facing. "You'll get even more lost. I think you need me." He said. Keeping her from walking any further by holding onto her bag's handle.
"Go jump in a lake or something." She said, looking away from him.
"And leave you here?"
"Such a fun friendship and all, but," Stevenson said sarcastically. "Can we please go now?"

"How did you end up here anyway?" Sebastian asked.
"You claimed it was her lunacy." Kia reminded
"Yeah, because it's always part of it." He replied.
"Some girl in my school decided to have a dumb party in a new cabin her parents bought."
"And sense of direction, I'm guessing you got lost on your way back?" Stevenson asked Kylie.
"I have a sense of direction unlike you, dunce."
"Sure,"
"A lunatic somehow dropped my phone from the roof at the party."
"I'm surprised you even went," Sebastian replied.
"You're telling me." She sighed.
"See, this is exactly why I don't socialize," Kia said.
After a while of walking, they finally were able to see a road and walked alongside it. The sun had already been setting, so the more they walked, the more it got dark, but not enough to not be able to see where they were headed.
Unfortunately, they couldn't get a ride from any cars because none had passed by them.
"This is my life now," Kia sighed, walking with Stevenson just some steps behind Kylie and Sebastian.
"I got lost in these woods, and now I will die upon them." She whined over the top dramatically.
"Shut up. We've only been walking for twenty minutes." Stevenson replied, annoyed at her.
Less than a minute later, Sebastian got an unsettling feeling as they walked along the road.
He turned around, but he saw nothing out of the normal. Which made him feel even worse.
"We're being watched." He said quietly a second after. "Or followed," He added. "Well, both"
"You always think that, Bas," Kylie complained.
"And I'm always right." He replied.
Eventually, they made their way to the old house Kia and Stevnson were at before.
The first thing they saw when approaching the house was James and Robbert arguing while Desiree stood on the side.
"Give me my damn dagger," Kia demanded, walking over to Robbert. "I could have used it," She said, extending her hand to him, while he just stared at her.
"You're alive?" James asked.
"Seems like it, no?" Stevenson said as he, Sebastian, and Kylie walked over.
"Oh hey, I know you," Desiree said, walking over to Sebastian. "Seb, right?", "Yeah, oh, and you're Des." "Yeah," She said as they continued to talk.
"Do you have a car or something?"
Kylie asked Robbert. "Uh, yeah, over there," He said, pointing at a car near them.
"Great," She said, running over to it.
"I need a ride." She yelled at him.
"Am I the only one lost?" James asked as everyone was doing his own thing.
After a while, James finally took Desiree over to the apartment complex he said they lived at.
Along with Sebastian, to whom he gave a ride.
Who lives near them?
"Right there." James pointed over to the first door on the left as they went up the stairs.
"Oh," he started, in front of his door right before she opened hers. "You have a roommate, just a heads up.", "Thanks for telling me now," She said, walking in. "Yeah, you're welcome." He muttered. Knocking on the door.
"What-" A girl with light eyes and hair started to ask while she opened the door but stopped at the sight of him.
"James?",
"Julie!" He said, smiling at her.
"Oh, what do you want now?" She asked him.
"Mind letting me in?"
"Yes, I do mind." She replied.
~~~~~~🗡~~~~~~
When Desiree opened the door, the first thing she saw was a small kitchen with a counter in front of it. On top of it was a large plastic bag.
When she turned to the right, she saw a small wooden table with multiple shelves and small decorations. She decided to place her bags near that table once she closed the door. Once she turned to see the rest of the apartment, she saw a guy. He had light brown hair and golden eyes. He was wearing a very simple outfit, which could almost look like pajamas, as he sat at the kitchen table and ate a bowl of food. "So you're not dead," He whispered to himself.
"Hi-", "I bought food," he said, cutting her off and pointing to the bag she had seen before. "Oh uh, thanks-", "Sigh, I'm Edward," he said, getting up. "Kitchen," He sighed, motioning toward the small area in front. "Living Room and balcony." he continued, pointing to the end of the room.
There were multiple large bookshelves on the two walls that made up the area. On the right wall, there was a TV sitting above a table in the middle of two shelves. In the center of the room, there was a large 'L' catch, taking up most of the free space.
When she turned to see a bookcase behind the long couch, she saw a picture. The moment her eyes lay on the picture frame, she felt as if she had seen it before. She took a step towards it. Lydia held her gaze upon it for a moment longer. Looking at three people. She was the guy behind her, which she could hear washing dishes. And a girl who seemed smaller than both of them. Lydia took another step towards the bookcase, wondering why the girl looked and felt so familiar. Finally, she looked away. Then, brushed away the thought, remembering anything in that apartment should be familiar. She lived there after all.
In the end, there were two big patio doors and curtains taking up most of the wall. The most she could see past the light cream curtains were multiple chairs set at a white glass table surrounded by multiple small and big plants.
"Down the hall, there's a closet, bathroom, and bedrooms," Edward said, pointing to a small hall that separated the living room and the small dining area.
"Your room is on the left. There's also a bathroom inside." He added.
"Thanks."
"Well, that's all." He said, walking into the hall and slamming his bedroom door shut.
After a second more of looking at the small apartment, she took her bags and walked to the end of the hall.
And into her room.
~~~~~~🗡~~~~~~
"You're absurd," She said, pacing back and forth in her living room.
"This will come up at some point, and you're going to have to explain. You know that, right?" She asked, sitting next to him on the small white couch.
"Well I couldn't bring it up now, could I?"
"Yes!" she exclaimed, "You could have brought it up the moment you saw her!" She said, getting up again.
"Oh and how do you think she'll take it?" He asked, sitting down calmly.
"Better than she will later on!"
"Julie-"
"What type of reasoning are you using here?"
"I just think it's better not to bring it up. She might not take it well. Not a lot of time has passed." He explained.
"If anything, she needs to know. What? Are you going to tell her later?" She rambled on, speaking quicker and at a higher pitch than she usually would. "Because later on, if you do, she won't trust you afterward."
"That's not a giant risk-"
"She doesn't need your cheap lies. Right now, she needs people she'll recognize."
"Juliette, did you forget the fact that she doesn't remember a thing?"
"She sure won't now!" Juliette said as she placed her hand on her head.
"Julie I don't-"
"If you didn't come for my opinion, then why are you here?" She asked, lowering her voice and walking over to her kitchen.
"Look I just need to stay-"
"Get a hotel!" Juliette yelled at him again while going through her fridge.
"It's not the same thing as next door."
"Then rent the place underneath. No one lives there."
"I already told her I live here." He said as she slammed the fridge shut.
"You what?"
"I-"
"Why would you say that?!" Juliette yelled at him again, even louder.
"Cheap lies?" He said. She took a deep breath and slammed her hand against the kitchen counter.
"You have an extra room, don't you?" James asked, still sitting on the couch.
"...Fine." She said, walking into the hall.
"Wait?"
"I'm exhausted, I don't want to put up with you." Juliette groaned, taking a pillow and blanket out of the hallway's closet. "If I say no you'll just keep nagging me." She added, throwing them into the empty room. "There's an inflatable bed in the room's closet."
"Thank-"
"Save it," She said, walking into her room.
"Just keep your problems away from me."
"Well I work with Robert, so that may be an issue," James said, walking over to the hallway.
"You're both mindless with everything." She mumbled, slamming her door.
"If you stay long enough you'll owe me rent." She shouted from inside.
"Wouldn't expect anything else," James shouted back, walking into the small room.
