Dan, who was supposed to be unconscious at this point in time, had risen back onto his feet, and also went ahead to deliver a blow to the side of the instructor's face. Although Lucas could sense that an attack was coming, he decided to let the blow connect, feeling confident in his ability to defeat the student once again.
"I guess you still have some fire left in you. No problem. I guess I'll just have to wear you out!" The next second, and the instructor had delivered a punch of his own, however, this one looked different from the ones he had delivered before. For one, there was a yellow aura surrounding his fist as he hurled them forward.
While the two were busy fighting, Marcus went ahead to do as the instructor had ordered, and changed Kayden's memories back to normal. Once the process was complete, he went ahead to confirm whether or not it had actually worked.
"I wonder what the instructor is doing?" Kayden wondered, taking notice of the yellow aura surrounding his fists. "Do you know anything about this?" Kayden asked the student standing beside him.
"I'm just as confused as you. But wait a second, could it be that the instructor is channeling his mana through his attacks that way? I mean, isn't Mana yellow in color? The colors match. And also, that's the energy that ability users make use of," Marcus tried to explain to Kayden what they were both witnessing.
"You know what, I think you're right
What do you know, I guess you have a brain after all," Kayden commented, nodding his head.
"Hey! What do you mean by that?! You overgrown mutt!" Marcus snapped back.
Lucas was still making sure he pulled his punches while fighting against the student. He was surprised that Dan was showing such progress and resilience during training. And from the way he attacked, he could sense something else, something that he wasn't quite sure about.
'What's with that energy?' He thought, as he dodged another blow from Dan. Dan had decided to deliver a jab with his elbow, standing a little forward from the man. However, he was able to grab the boy's arm and elbow just in time, bending it upwards, causing Dan to yell out in pain as Lucas threatened to rip his arm off.
Then, Dan had raised his right leg up, wanting to kick off against the instructor's abdomen, but he was able to catch the foot just in time.
"Hah! You're only able to catch and hold one arm and one leg at the time! I still have one more of each that I can use!" Dan had activated the fire class ability once again, and channeled his Mana into it before punching the instructor in the chest with his free hand, and also kicking the instructor right in the abdomen with his other free leg.
'Hmph, this guy isn't even serious about fighting me,' Dan thought to himself.
"I guess I'm being a little too lenient with you!" The next second, and the instructor had broken Dan's arm and leg, causing him to yell out in pain, and proceeded to do the same to his other arm and other leg. But he didn't stop there. He also grabbed the boy by the scruff of his shirt, headbutting him.
"Let's see you come to so quickly after that," he said, letting Dan's body fall against the floor.
'How on earth is that guy built differently?!' Kayden wondered, his eyes lingering on Dan's body laying flat against the wall.
'Did the instructor really have to go that far just to put him down, or was he just trying to show us his power a little more? I guess the latter makes a whole lot more sense. I seriously don't think that this guy is weak,' Kayden wondered, as the man had turned to face the both of them.
"Well, he was certainly a piece of work," he said, glancing at Dan on the floor. "Still, I'm glad that someone like him is one of my students. Although I didn't notice it at first, there's this fire in his eyes. A need to grow stronger. I always like students like him. I just hope that one day he learns to get that temper of his under control," Lucas said.
"Hey, sir?" Marcus asked, raising his arm in the air like a kid still in school. "That energy around your fists. How were you able to channel your energy that way? Also, can you teach us how?"
"Of course, I will. That's why I'm here," Lucas replied.
Hearing this, Kayden was excited to learn something new in this class. After learning Mana control for a while, Kayden couldn't stop thinking of how he could perhaps make use of the technique to allow him to perform that move the instructor had used.
"That technique I had used, had a name. It's called Mana aura. It's basically a skill that allows you to make use of your Mana in the form of aura. Althyit may sound interesting, it's not usually the best means of combat, as the technique requires a lot of mana to execute, so most ability users typically rely on using either their abilities or magical weapons.
"Still, that doesn't make the technique bad. There are still a lot of things you can do with it. Such as infecting others with your Mana, controlling others, and even creating your own domains and spaces. Though a lot of these applications are rarely used by practitioners as they tend to carry a lot of risks with them," Lucas explained.
'Creating domains? Really?' Kayden wondered, staring down at his hands. 'The power to create domains. I really do that? Still, how can domains be helpful in my future battles?'
Lucas then went ahead to channel out his Mana once again, however, this time, instead of just surrounding both of his hands in the yellow aura, he had completely covered his entire body in the yellow aura.
The force of his mana was strong to push the students back, as now, everyone present was looking in his direction. Noticing this, he quickly apologized, before going ahead to do something else.
This time around, there wasn't a strong force pushing everyone back.
"What you had initially felt was the unbridled force of my Mana. In this form, I can do a lot of things, but for the sake of today's class, I will oy show you a few of my tricks," Lucas said, before turning his attention towards the unconscious student on the floor.
Stretching his hand forward, a line of yellow aura had left it, going straight for Dan. The next second, his body began to twitch, as he slowly got off the floor.
"You see, Mana aura is a technique that you have all encountered at one point or the other. Mana control, a technique that allows one to control the flow of their mana at will, is what allows him to create Mana aura. So basically, you cannot use Mana aura without first learning Mana control," the instructor explained further.
"What I had just done was simply give some of my Mana to your classmate, forcing the mana that was already inside him to bring him out of his unconscious state. Let me now show you something else mana aura is capable of."
Swiping his arm in the air, a line of aura had come out, this one curved due to the motion of his hand. The line of aura flew in the air, before colliding with the wall, and exploding afterwards.
"That is something I like to call an aura strike. Now, before I show you something else, I would like to see if you three are capable of pulling your Mana out of your bodies," the instructor said.
Looking at each other, the three of them nodded their heads in unison. Though Dan didn't really understand what they were talking about since he was unconscious for most of the time. He just decided to go ahead with what they were doing.
'This should also let me grow stronger as well,' he thought as he began to concentrate on the maa flowing in his body.
'If only this system would help me with doing this,' Kayden thought to himself, as he began to concentrate hard.
'Though I doubt that any of them will be able to pull it off on their first try. I still want to know if it's possible,' his eyes then fell on Dan, whose eyes were closed as he was concentrating as well. 'That boy, why do I feel an ominous presence around him?'
In the fire class division, the students in that division were also going about their lessons as well, however, for Kayla, she couldn't stop thinking about the words of someone she had heard not too long ago.
"Don't let Kayden Williams find out the truth!"
