Other students such as Hilda and Madison were having trouble keeping up with the class as well. They were both mentally weak and unprepared for today's class. Moreover, seeing as how the first year students' Titan one was also looking dull, it didn't help alleviate the overall mood of the class.
The strongest of the first year student had easily been defeated by Henry yesterday. She wasn't looking like she was taking her loss really well. Just like Paul, she felt disappointed I'm herself for loosing her fight. Despite knowing that there was no possible way for them to have won in those fights.
This student's name was Kayla, the strongest of the first year students. She was the apple of everyone's eye, and also Madison and Hilda's roommate. Everyone practically worshipped her and wanted to be like her. Since day one, no body had even bother to challenge her to a fight.
They were usually mesmerized and enchanted by her beauty, so much so that the boys would fight with each other just to know who would have the honour serving her. Although she wasn't interested in having servants, she couldn't stop the students from forcing her to accept their assistance.
At the academy, there were students who would typically inform her on everything interesting that was going on. Also, there were those who were meant to fight against anyone who.wisjed to challenge her. Although they had never been able yo fulfill their role so far.
Despite all of this, she couldn't stop thinking about the student who had bested her in battle. Remembering the smug smile on his face tight before he stabbed her with his weapon, she suddenly screamed in frustration, startling everyone.
This was right before Zain and the other students wee about to begin their sparring matches. Zain was mindful of the student in front of him. He knew he couldn't afford to let himself get distracted by anything or anyone.
Although his Mana at the start of the year was at five thousand, it had quickly rose to seven thousand in just over a week. He may not have been the most talented student, but he was someone who preferred to be efficient with the way he chooses to attack.
While his ability allows him to send attacks to his opponent, the latter is able to teleport at will, allowing him to appear behind his opponent. However, Zain was quick enough to realize this, jumping back and using his ability as soon as possible.
His opponent quickly teleported again, appearing beside him right as he was about to deliver a kick to the ribs. Fortunately, Zain was able to react on time, grabbing the foot before slamming his other hand against his opponent's face. Almost immediately, the latter began to scream in pain, as Zain's ability sliced through his clothes and flesh. It wasn't long until he had lost consiousness, and Zain allowed his body to hit the floor.
Zain, of course, had a higher rank than this student, but he had to give his thanks to his lunch and quick thinking that allowed him to win that fight. Zain had always been someone who prefers to end a fight as soon as it begins so that he wouldn't have to spend more Mana than he has to.
The instructor, seeing how quickly Zain had finished his fight, walked over to congratulate him for his efforts. The other students, seeing what was going on, couldn't help but feel jealous that the instructor was paying more attention to Zain than themselves. However, there was nothing they could do at this point in time other than just focus on winning their fights.
In the simulation, Kayden and the others decided to head back to the Adventurers' Guild to receive another mission. They were glad that they hadn't come across another Scorpanion on there way back and eventually made it back to the city. Not long after, and they had made it back to the large building. Heading inside, they now stood in front of the counter separating them from the man whom everyone refers to as the Guild Master.
"So you all managed to complete your first mission? That's good news! I glad you all did your best and managed to succeed!" the man said with a smile on his face. Marcus was glad to hear that the man was happy for them. However, Kayden was more interested in getting straight down to business.
"Give us another mission," he demanded. The other two stood behind him, their faces saying the same thing as Kayden. Seeing their eagerly to complete another mission, the Guild Master then handed them over another digital map having the location where they could hunt down more beasts. Thanking the ma for his assistance, the three then made their way out of the Adventurers' Guild and out of the city.
The directions stated on the map led them towards a rocky terrain more further away from the town than the last one. It stated that they would have to climb the mountain in front of them in order to find the beasts.
The three soon began their climb up the mountain. Later on, they had made it to the top, where they could finally spot some beasts roaming around the top. These creatures resembled eagles, only that they had two heads and we're completely purple in colour. Their appearance made Marcus and Dan shudder in disgust. But Kayden didn't seem bothered by this, transforming and killing them off quickly.
The group later shared the Mana potions after all the beasts had been killed. Marcus and Dan thought that they would then be climbing down, however, Kayden had stopped them, stating that there were still beasts they could hunt on the mountain.
Following his lead, they had soon made it to a different part of the mountain, where they could see another kind of beasts they had never seen slithering on the rocks. They resembled the slither worms, but on a closer inspection, they could tell that these beasts were different.

Blake was trying his best to remain focused during the abilities class, however, he couldn't stop thinking about how he had been severely brutalized by one of the second year student. Despite going as far as to do something that his friends could have called insane, he was still no match for their power. He wondered why he had even done such a thing in the first place if it was going to make him very strong as quickly as he had expected.
Also, Carter was struggling to understand what his instructor was saying. After loosing to Blake in that fight, and being beaten so badly yesterday, he had lost whatever will he had to grow stronger. Although he and Blake were still having their daily sparring matches, Blake had agreed to go easier on him.

Not long after, and the three students had made quick work of killing the beasts. Once they had gathered all the Mana potions, they then decided to head back to the Adventurers' Guild. On the way back, they could stop thinking about what their instructor had said about these simulations getting much harder. They hadn't come across another Scorpanion or Dogtooth ever since entering the simulation today. More than anything, today was going quite easier for them than they had expected.
On their way back, while traveling through the purple desert, they suddenly began to feel the sand underneath their feet begin to vibrate violently. Looking around, no one could tell whether or not there was a beast in the area, but they knew that only a beast was capable of producing such tremors.
Not wanting to know whether it was a Scorpanion producing the vibrations, the three students began running as fast as they could through the desert. Kayden, using his werewolf speed, was able to outrun the others. Noticing this, he quickly picked them both up and placed them on his back as he continued yo dash away.
The vibrations became more frequent and aggressive as Kayden blazed through the sandy terrain. The town was still many miles away. There was no way they could reach there on time before whatever creature was behind this disturbance finds them.
Although he did his best to outrun the threat, it wasn't long until a creature had emerged from the sand, releasing a roar that caused the sand to vibrate faster than before, even causing Kayden yo lose his balance, sending him and the other tumbling down a sand dune and leaving them exposed.
The creature resembled a rattle snake back on Earth. However, this beast had a red coloration throughout its body. Its roar, and the rattling of its tail, were capable of creating vibrations strong enough to even leave Kayden disoriented and causing them to fall into the sand.
