Tim halted as he stood in front of the large wall in front of him.
He had managed to escape the notice of the guards which guarded the wall and had only come so far and he soon came in contact with his final hurdle.
He had long since prepared for this as, if he did not cross this wall, all of his efforts would have been for nothing.
He began to gather his fire essence into his arms as soon his robes became lit with raging flames.
Fortunately for him, his robes were fire resistant else he was sure to have become a burnt statue.
As soon as he finished gathering the required essence
in his arms, he shot out a propelling gust of fire from both his arms as his body began to slowly lift itself up.
This was a special move he had formulated but had lacked enough talent to nurture it.
He managed to successfully scale through the wall and he landed safely at the other end of the wall unscathed as he began to extinguish the flames on his robes.
Just while he was ridding his robes of the flames that engulfed it, a loud roar filled the entire region which Tim stood.
"Damn, my luck must really be rotten! Why is a mimmith here!"
he exclaimed.
Mammiths were known to be large humanoid beasts which possessed frightening strength.
But the most frightening part about these beasts was that they rarely travelled alone.
Normally, a mage of Tim's rank would be considered extremely lucky if he survived an encounter with a lone mimmith. One could hardly fathom how he would fare when faced with two or more of these beasts.
"Well looks like I have no choice". he said as he positioned himself in a battle stance as his eyes began to illuminate a bright orange glow.

Meanwhile, a the twilight academy for mages, the
chambers of the main building was currently busy the frequent pacings of the people in the building.
Currently, a senior mage had been sent to the suspected location of the student hopefully they would be lucky to find the student alive.
***********************
The senior mage searched effortlessly for hours before he finally came to a portion in the forest which was
surrounded by flames.
"This is...."
He was absolutely dumbfounded by the scene in front of him right now.
Multiple mammiths laid on the ground.
At the epicenter of these beasts, was none other than the missing student, his robes stained with blue blood.
The senior mage couldn't actually believe it. All the beasts before him were all dead!
Even a senior mage like himself could not easily defeat half of the number of dead beasts before him at the very least he would require several hours stalling these beasts for the reinforcements. Even the reinforcements would have to be at least prime mages for them to have a chance defeating this much beasts.
But yet....
He just couldn't bring himself to accept that a mere apprehentice mage had done the work which would take at least 10 mages of a higher rank to complete.
Moreover, it had only been moments ago when the report for missing student had been heard of which would only mean that this student had killed the beasts himself within a short time frame.
The mage began to proceed cautionary to the student. He couldnt tell if therr were other beasts here so he had to take precautionary measures.
But just as he reached a certain distance away from the student, he sensed a large energy wave coming from the student in front of him.
"Such power!"
As far as he knew, only archmages could exhibit such.
"Let's see what the head mage has to say about this". he said as he resisted the wave of energy and carried the boy before heading out of the clearing.
