The day have a strange feeling to it. the usual calming breeze held an eriee excitement. As if foreshadowing a coming event. Regardless, the day was beautiful. the azure sky held a handful of clouds, and the clearing where a particular young man sat against a lone tree sitting at the center of said clearing. Somewhat domineering, this tree was quite a bit larger then most of the tree in the miles wide forest it called home. as it stood at the center of a vast clearing it seems as though I kept the very forest at bay with is presence. Kind of a weird feeling to get from a tree. Even with all that it smelled of honey flowers, thanks to those beautiful white and yellow flowered that adorned its vine like tendrils cascading down various pounds of its towering canopy.
"By the forces that be, such peaceful days may have become addicting." Ashur said to himself. His eyes closes blissfully lost in the moment. Though in reality he had been there a long time. Wondering if it would be in anyway harmful to stay any longer his stomach had decided in that moment to speak up. With nothing waiting for him at home but the food that would silence his beastial hunger, that hunger alone helped in his decision. With a quick kip-up he leaned back to stretch his sleeping spine. followed by a series a limbering movements. he stood at a decent hight not toweringly tall yet definitely not small. about 5'11 or 6' , and a head topped with silver hair that poofed slightly barely hiding the dog like ears on his head .All that paired with gem like crimson eyes. beautiful eyes even for a beast man.
He had a habit of self decipline so he honed his body as best he could with all types of things. from lifting heavy thing to chasing animals through the woods excessively while hunting. with a body honed very well and handsome features he was a very good looking young man. He did take some pride it that as well. though most men in his village were of his level of attraction and the females were even brighter beacons of beauty. so much so that no matter what asher did he never found the courage to have much conversation with the opposite sex. though not that there was many times he found himself in social gatherings. Asher spend most of his fine tending to his small acreage and enjoying spent of time simply watching the sky sometimes running threw to woods for long periods of times just for fun.
Facing the direction of his village Asher decided it was no better time then to test himself. It would usually take him a couple hours to jog his way thru the forest. But today he wondered if possible how long would it take him at full speed. crouching low under the tree he broke off at great speed leaving nothing but a cloud of dust behind about the same size he was . dart through these very familiar would he quickly reach max speed. it was as if he was the wind itself jumping and maneuvering through the dense woods like a feather caught in a slip stream. a few minutes into his journey, Ashur felt that strange tingle in the air again. At present it was no more then a whisper. yet the further along he traversed the more it seemed that enticing feeling wafting in the air began to sound off alarms. that feeling turned into a sense that something was near by and incredibly dangerous. With that a burst a adrenaline came and with it a new level of speed. As if there was.m nothing else to existence he needed to move forward, home and then beyond. barely missing trees and coming close to a variety of different crashes and tumbles. he could to markers that stated the edge of the village was near after having kicked up his speed for the first time in a long time satisfaction and relief that those ghostly fingers at the back of his neck was no longer a worry. Still he made quick work getting to his acreage. His first thought that crossed his mind was of the war so long ago. there were very few who every made him feel that level of danger and even then there was no fear. this time was very different that very reaction was due to nothing but fear.
Though he loved this village and the very gorgeous planet it was placed on the years at war and boredom through peace had left him somewhat at a loss for a purpose or goal there was no army to defeat at the present time and there wasn't much he could do in the way of getting stronger without someone beyond him to grow off of. if Ashur's current self had gone to war many things would have been different maybe even more then he can think of. regardless that was a feeling he promised himself he would never openly invite into his life again. with all that has happened Asher decided it was time to pack up sell what I have and go on the adventure he had forgotten in he'd wanted to go one all those ago not long after the war.
Hours past and he had spoken to all the nessesary parties within the week he would have ol'harrisy tuned up and ready for a ride through the comsos and fully fitted with necessities. as night came, Ashur relished in the last few night view he had left a night so clear, nebulae and galaxies lit up the sky a sea of colors and stars. Yep, he was gonna miss this. soon he filled his angry stomach had a quick was and crawled into bed. planning to spend his last few days on this planet going as far out and he can and seeing as much within point to top it off with time under his favorite tree before departure. with those gleeful thought in mind ashur drifted to sleep.
a couple days later, the day before ashurs departure. he had decided that the remainder of his time would be spend under his favorite tree in , what was in his own mind, his own personal clearing. a bag of snacks and drinks at his side he lay on a simple gray blanket watching the sky threw the moving branches, yet another beautiful day. For some reason, in this peaceful serenity his mind went back to that past week. The feeling that carried in the wind. His instinctual reaction to seemingly nothing but that gentle breeze. not wanting to loom over such a frankly embarrassing moment ashur snuggled against the ground with the intention that a nap would come shortly. the birds chirping in the distance and a gentle cool breeze seem to help him in that intention, not long after he had succeeded.
ashur, stirred awake by a sudden gust of wind with a much colder chill to it then before. he opened his eyes sleepily to notice that night had fallen. rubbing the crums from his eyes and taking a good few moments to stretch he gathered his things and began his journey to his blessed ship. there were a few hours of hands on prep to finish up not to mention loading his belongings though it was only a few bags and a couple pieces if tech he had been designing. half way thru his journey with the village light on the horizon. an all to familiar and gut twisting feeling. Run. dropping his things he began to sprint, yet stopped. 'why they hell am I running again? there is nothing there!' ashur thought to himself surveying the area with intense eyes. there really was nothing near him, at least on the ground. as the hairs on the back of his neck , he slowly looked up. 'I have finally gone mad haven't i? hahaha, either that or I'm in big trouble.' Ashur could only hope it was the former. a strange figure covered it what seem to be the sky itself had its red and black eyes precisely trained on him. once again his senses told him to run an no sooner had the feeling come then ashur had started moving.
A snap rang in the air and the ethereal being watch as this beast man vanished before his eyes. well not really but to mortal senses it would have seems so. following his essence Negyro followed after the boy. second later the very capable young man was in view. 'What amazing speed, he must be from somewhere else. the humanoids I've seen are similar in a appearance but are no where near and strong his him. does he know this?' more and more questions came to mind. what a very curious situation to be in though the beast style humanoid was far from rare there abilities differ. yet only a few came to mind when it came to speed like this. they were light-years away tho. a couple were extinct now. regardless he had noticed him some time ago and had hoped to run into him again not surprising he would run into this lad in the same place yet still what are the odds. not wanting to wast an opportunity and knowing this being was capable of speech his impatience got the better of him. negyro warp the space around him and disappear.
once again ashur found himself moving at that incredible speed. and like before he simply leaned into it this time it felt all top natural as if moving across a large flat baron field. moving up to the branches in hopes of disorienting his supposed spectra, not loosing an inch of movement. passing the edge of the village the presence behind him suddenly disappeared. coming to a stop whilst digging into the ground from atop a branch. ashur snap around to view the area behind him. again. nothing but the forest. checking above to be sure again there was nothing but the stars and colorful sky. "your are incredibly fast young beast man, I have seen very few as fast and you." ashur had moved before he realized greasing a gap between his and the star wrapped being in front of him. "so sorry I had not intent of harming or scaring you, I simply had some questions." Ashur was absolutely floored. 'did the blob of sky with eyes just tell me to not be afraid??' they both stood there silent as the night. "I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is negyro, at least that what it sounds like in this tongue. sorry for the scare. what kind of food do u have? " ashur simply tilted his head as all the information broke him, next thing he knew was black as he fainted.
