A pitch darkness enveloped me. The void took my breath and started suffocating me.
My sense of touch, smell and hearing was gone. All that was left was the vast endless void in front of me.
In the darkness a pair of eyes apeared, Periercing me with their sick and disgusting stare. The eyes eminated a menicing red color.
Suddenly it all went white as i felt my eyes starting to open.
The sceling was an emerald green colour that greeted me when my eyes adjusted to the light. I sat up streight only to see a young man sitting on a small chair beside my massive bed.
"You're finaly awake brother, Ferdinand has been worried sick. Hes an old man sam, you cant scare him like that." The man said in a stern yet kind tone. He had white hair, was relatively tall and dressed in elegant white clothing.
"Who the hell are you, and whos Ferdinand" i asked him while sluring my words.
"You must have hit your head pretty hard, ill give you some time to regain your thoughts" he stood up and walked out of the room.
As I sat on my giant and elegantly decorated bed, i started to slowly regain my memory.
I remember countless nights of studying, days spent with friends in the city and hartwarming momenta with my family. But not in one single memory had I ever met this man or Ferdinand.
I cautiously lifted myself off the bed and slowly Made my way to the door. Opening the door, I found myself in a large hallway. The walls had beautiful desighns on them that perfectly contrasted the livley red carpet.
"Samuel ! "
Heard a yell from across the corridor.
An old gentelmen in a suit speed walked up to me giving me a stern look.
"Is this what you'll be wearing to today's conference Samuel?" He lifted his eyebrow in confusion
I looked down to see that I was in a purple sleeping robe.
"Oh sorry sir, where can I get a change of cloths?" I asked the man
The man gave me an even more bewildered expression before saying " it's down the hall to the right"
"Ok, thank you" I said as I walked away.
As I picked I was picking out an outfit from the closet that was more the size of a room. I thought to myself, what did he mean when he said conference. A itching nervousness built up inside me as I dressed my self and walked out into the corridor. In the corridor stood the white haired young man from before.
"Come on Sam, the conference is about to start" he said as he led me to two large and eloquently carved wood doors.
The doors opened to reveal a large circular room with several rows of chairs to the right populated by hundreds of people. To the left was a podium with three thrones like chairs spread out uniformly.
I sat down on s the second closest throne to the doors and waited anxiously.
"Today we have gathered to discuss the first trial to be under gone by the heirs of the king !" A loud booming voice echoed around the room shaking me from fear.
"The likelihood of survival for this first trial is only 46%"
The voice kept talking but I couldn't hear it. My heart felt like it was beating through my chest as I sat frozen in my throne.
What the hell is going on.
