Lucian moved forward with speed as he closed in on the sect, the trees around him becoming a blur but they didn't disorientate him at all as he was still able to avoid the obstacles on his way.
He eventually ran out of the jungle as what appeared in front of him outside the jungle almost took his breath away.
Gigantic.
This was the most biggest and grandest structure Lucian has ever seen. About ten metres in front of him was a golden coloured collosal gate radiating a powerful golden light.
Three words were written on top radiating an awe inspiring aura enough to strike fear into anyone's heart.
The Divine Battle Sect.
Although the gate was huge, it still couldn't hide the tall structure within it whose top almost pierced through the clouds.
A golden coloured pavement extended to the front of the gate as Lucian slowly made his way to the gate. The grandness made him feel like he was but a tiny pebble in the grand universe but he couldn't but feel some pride too.
If there was a place capable of tutoring him, then a place like this was qualified.
He slowly arrived before the gate about 2 metres before slowly stopping and didn't move a single inch more. After about a minute of standing, a loud voice finally reverberated from within echoing out to him.
"State Your name and purpose"
"I'm Lucian Atherston aspiring to become a disciple of the Divine Battle Sect." Lucian said bowing a little as the collosal gate slowly opened.
Powerful wave of pure spiritual energy slammed on his face after the gate opened but to Lucian who didn't have a martial spirit and hence couldn't sense the spiritual energy, only feeling it to be normal air.
He slowly entered forward seeing the different structures arranged within the place but he eventually averted his gaze as right in front if him were two young men clad in a red coloured robe their face lit in seriousness and arrogance.
The seem to be in their early twenties but that wasn't what make Lucian's eyes narrowed but the aura radiating from them. It was an incredibly powerful aura, that could only belong to those who were above the Star rank stage.
"Come with us..." they both said as Lucian was led deeper into the place.
There was no conversation among them, and he also didn't say a single word as they eventually arrived in front of a dojo.
Opening it, Lucian was slightly surprised as the inside of the dojo was wider than he thought.
In front of him was a large space were about fifty people could be seen. They weren't dressed in the Divine Battle Sect uniform and seemed to also be at the same age as him.
It seems they were also people who wanted to join the Divine Battle Sect.
"Go in." Both men stood outside the dojo as they nudged Lucian to enter into the place.
Lucian ignored the gaze piercing towards him from others as he instead entered into the place looking for a place to stay when he suddenly heard a familiar mournful stifled cry at the corner of the hall.
His gaze narrowed as he walked towards the place his gaze lit weirdly at the picture in front of him.
Right in front of him was a fat boy, who had his knees tightly clutched together in his chest while his head laid on them as if wanting to burrow in his knees.
A pool of water which could only be tears were gathered beneath him as his nose continuously ran like a broken tap.
Lucian slowly walked towards the fatty in mixed emotion as there was only one person this could be.
-- -- --
Kenji ran towards the Divine Battle Sect with all his speed as he banged the gate ignoring the bolt of lightning that continuously pierced through his body.
The gate eventually happened as he immediately jumped on the leg of the person who appeared in front of him begging him to help.
He was eventually calmed down as he narrated to them his ordeal.
The men once hearing of Lucian not at the Early Star rank stage while the Night werewolf was at the Late Star rank stage immediately ignored him, telling him he would have been torn apart by the wolf before moving ten steps.
He was forcefully dragged into the hall after refusing to listen although he was also aware there was no Lucian could ever survive.
He repeatedly blamed himself for what happened as he couldn't stop the tears from flowing out of his eyes.
The other people around already screamed at him to stop the useless noise, some mocking him but he didn't even have time to spare them a glance as he continuously cried harder.
That was until he felt a hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder gently. Kenji felt as if lightning was passed into him as he felt the hand was so familiar. It was a touch familiar but impossible.
He slowly raised up his head amidst the snort dripping down, and right in front of him was an handsome white face with raven dark hair blowing around his face.
His mind immediately went blank seeing the face as he stared at the face dumbly before crying even harder saying out loud to himself.
"Now everyone I look at carry his face, Wu..Wu..Wu." Kenji said as his tears spilled out even harder.
"Damn fatty, did you really wish me to die so badly" Lucian said in anger to the fatty.
"Is it.. Is it..really you..." Kenji asked staring at Lucian well while wiping his nose of.
"Off course, it's me. Who else could it..." Lucian suddenly felt as if a house was thrown towards him as his back slammed on the ground with a bang while a heavy figure laid on him.
"Wu..Wu..Wu.. You scared this young master so much..." Kenji said raining snort and tears on the body he already unknowingly suffocated.
Lucian felt the mountain of meat landing on him but he didn't push back and Instead hugged the body tighter to himself. His cold emotionless face was thwarted as a single tear drop rolled down his face.
This was the first time he felt loved again. It was the first time he ever knew someone cared for him apart from his dead uncle Jason and slumbering Mia.
Today he felt that distant emotion. The emotion of being understood and loved.
The power of true brotherhood.
