Dougal and Kaneko jump up to block as Michael jumps at an angle completely avoiding the block. Swinging his hand and hitting the ball on the court. Smirking as he lands. LWTHS 22-21 LSBVT.
Shaun jump serves the ball over the net as Lucas receives the ball and Kurai setter dumps it. LWTHS 23-21 LSBVT. Lucas tosses the ball and floats it over the net. Kayden overhand receives the ball. Gabe sets the ball as Michael spikes it, Dougal blocking it. Devon reaches out and hits it over the net. LWTHS 23-22 LSBVT.
A whistle blows as Dawsin overhand serves the ball. Richmond receives it as Kurai sets the ball to Kaneko who plows through the block. LWTHS: Match point 24-22 LSBVT.
"This game is speeding up! LakeWood Technical is at Match point!"
Dougal overhand serves the ball as Gabe receives it. Michael jumps up to spike it as Dougal appears to block. Slamming the ball down onto the court. Two ominouse whistles blow. The ref points to LakeWood Technical.
"LakeWood Technical High School takes the second set! With 2 sets to 0, LakeWood Technical wins by landslide!!"
The score buzzes out. LakeWood Technical won the first set 25-21. LakeWood Tech won the second set 25-22. LakeWood Tech had defeated the Louisiana State Boys Volleyball Team.
Michael rises to his feet slowly and is shocked when Kurai reaches his hand under the net. Smirking and shaking Kurai's hand. Michael smirking.
"Consider yourselves monsters of Volleyball LakeWood Technical" Kurai smirks back.
"I appreciate the honour, 3rd best is the nation, Michael Winters" They let go and walked back to their end line of the court.
"THANK YOU FOR THE GAME!"
They all walk back to the bench as Erik is packing things up, preparing to move for their next match. Coach Russ nodded.
"You all did amazing…" Everyone takes large chugging gulps of water as Russ continues.
"But we all know… we've now made from the top 50… to the top 25… go explore, get some rest, and don't eat too much… meet me in the lobby when they call for us" Everyone shouts.
"YES SIR!" Lucas walks over to Russ.
"How's Ajax doing?" Russ looks over.
"He should be able to play in our next game… Now, let's move so they can hold the next match!" They all rush around to leave.
