Richmond steps up to serve again. He serves the ball straight to Kaneko. Kurai stepping back a bit.
"Kaneko!" Kaneko smirks and leans to his right. Cleanly receiving the ball. Turning his momentum into his run-up. Kurai smirking as his jumps up to set the ball. Richmond and Xavier reacting instantly and rushing over to block. Kurai setting the ball straight forward. 'Give me your best brother!' Kaneko slams the ball against the block as it goes flying into the ceiling.
"Chance ball!" Nathan runs up and jumps from behind the three meter line. Turning the receive into the set. Richmond reacting and jumping up to spike as Kurai appears in front of him to block. 'Quick on your feet ain't ya?...'
"For a giant you're pretty agile!" Richmond smirks as he goes from a spike to a set. Setting the ball to the opposite side of the court. Lucas running up to spike as Dougal appears. 'Wait how did he-... I thought he wasn't over here?... Did Kurai plan all this out?... Telling them to stay back and in their positions to make us think all their blockers weren't close to the net… when in reality… Everything is under his command…!' Lucas smirks as his wings fly back. Jumping really high and swinging his hand.
"I'm team captain… for a reason!" Lucas spikes the ball as it bounces off Dougal's arm. Hitting the court with an echo. Dougal shocked as he lands.
"He actually-" Kaneko in disbelief.
"Oh come on!... That was cool… I wish I could do that…" Kurai looks over.
"You can… You just need to watch what's happening and spike based off that…" Lucas looks at Kurai differently now. The aura of a leader radiating from him. 'Everything Kurai does… Is for the future of the game!... He's setting up his team in such a way that could help gain points 12 minutes from now!' Kurai waves everyone back.
"Back to positions… Step back a bit… Give the net some air… don't suffocate it" Erik changes the scoreboard again.
"Freshman are still in the lead at a score of 6-4" An intensity radiates off of the Seniors as they start getting points after points. Even with Kurai's high IQ and plans. They still overpowered them nearly to the end of the match.
"Uh… The seniors are leading with 7-20…" Lucas steps up to serve.
"We're overpowering you all… What ever happened to those insane feats of talent from earlier?" Lucas tosses the ball up. Kurai's hair covering his eyes. 'Now I remember why I used to love this sport so much…' Kurai glares up at Lucas. Serving the ball over the net. Ajax easily receiving it now. Kurai running forward and setting the ball to the right. Dougal quick spiking the ball but Nathan manages to bring it up.
"That's low!... Sorry!" Lucas runs up and jumping up to spike shocking everyone. Spiking the ball but getting blocked by Dougal. Xavier reacting and pancaking the ball.
"It's Low, Richmond!" RIchmond runs over and underhand sets the ball as Lucas runs up for a spike. Lucas spiking the ball as it hits Dougal's fingertips.
"One Touch!" Kurai appears under the ball as it's about to go out of bounds. 'Because I got to play against stronger opponents' Kurai stretches his foot out and planting it. Twisting his torso and planting his other foot. Spinning as he perfectly overhand sets it back towards the net surprising everyone. Kaneko running up to spike as Lucas rushes up to block. Kaneko planting his penultimate and then his block step with full strength. His shoulders above the net. 'I love Volleyball' Kaneko swings his hand reaching a whole two feet over the block. Slamming the ball into the ground as Nathan doesn't make it in time. Lucas smirking.
"About time… Kurai Vlast'... Has awakened…" Erik blowing his whistle.
"Seniors are still winning 8-20"
