Jun ran as fast as he could back towards camp, his breathing becoming heavier and heavier as he tried to run faster.
"Huff, huff, huff..." As Jun got near the group, he ignored the pain in his lungs and shouted as loud as he could.
"OLIVIAAAAAA!!!!! OLIVIAAAAA!!!!"
As Jun shouted, he felt a sense of relieve when he saw Olivia making her way towards him, confusion apparent in her eyes.
"Jun? what's wrong?"
Noticing that Jun was out of breath, Olivia gave him some time to rest before looking for Ren. When she couldn't find him, a deep sense of dread came over her.
"JUN! IS REN OKAY?!?"
Olivia looked around in a panic, fearing that something happened to Ren.
"Huff, He's okay. Huff, but we found an injured girl. Huff, Ren said bring the stone."
Olivia calmed down a little when she heard Ren was okay, but concern dyed her face when she heard about the girl. Wasting no time, Olivia urged Jun to let her know where Ren was.
"I ran straight up from that street. Huff, Ren should be making his way over..."
Olivia nodded her head and began running down the street, making her way towards Ren.
Meanwhile, Ren has successfully removed the little girl from the car. As he carried the little girl no older than 10 years old towards the group, he couldn't help but feel dread as he looked at her injuries.
A girl that barely weighed anything in Ren's arms had a leg and arm broken, her originally red hair had to be cut by Ren to pull her out, but her scalp was already cut to shreds by glass. Worse yet, her heartbeat was slowing down rapidly.
Ren carefully carried her as he quickened his pace, worry growing inside his heart as he felt her heartbeat grow weaker. However, when he noticed a figure with familiar brown hair run towards him, Ren felt hope for the little girl.
"OLIVIA!!"
Noticing Ren's voice, Olivia turned towards him and sprinted as hard as she could. As she ran, she reached into her pocket to take out the repair stone.
"REN!"
As Ren and Olivia reached each other, Olivia saw the little girl in his arms. She almost dropped the repair stone in shock as she looked at the injuries on such a small body. Olivia quickly calmed down and put the repair stone on her head first, healing the cuts and infected wounds.
*Huuuuuummmmm* A low hum and a purple glow covered the little girl's head, rapidly healing the cuts. Watching the horrific cuts on her face heal before their eyes, Ren and Olivia felt a sense of relieve in their hearts.
"Do her chest next, I think her ribs are broken."
Olivia nodded, and placed the stone on her chest. As the purple glow engulfed her, her breathing steadied.
"Huuuu... Huuuu..."
As she rhythmically breathed, Ren was relieved, as he felt the little girl's heart beat becoming stronger.
A few minutes later, the little girl was completely healed, sleeping soundly. Ren and Olivia walked back quietly, trying hard not to disturb the girl's rest.
"REEEENNN!!!"
Olivia and Ren turned to look at Jun, who was running towards them with Liam behind him. Sighing, Ren signalled for Jun to quite down, pointing at the girl he was carrying. Seeing this, Jun immediately stopped his yelling and shushed Liam behind him.
Shaking his head, Ren and Olivia joined up with Jun and Liam.
"Ren, is she okay?"
Jun looked at the girl in concern, trying to see any visible wounds on her. Following Jun's example, Liam also looked at the girl in concern, even offering to carry her in Ren's stead.
"She's fine now, there shouldn't be any injuries. Just let her sleep."
Ren handed the girl to Liam, and headed back to the camp with the group.
"How did you guys treat her? I swear she was all bloody when I left."
Ren glanced at Olivia, trying to see if she wants to keep her repair stone a secret.
"It's fine."
Getting the confirmation he was waiting for, Ren explained the repair stone to the group. Jun and Liam's eyes grew as large as plates when Olivia did her handkerchief demonstration for them, making Olivia unconsciously smile at their worship.
"So I don't have to worry about being hurt anymore?"
Jun brightly commented, but Ren quickly smacked his head to calm him down.
"No idiot, being afraid of injuries is how you survive."
Rubbing the back of his head, Jun stuck his tongue out at Ren before hiding behind Olivia. As the brothers continue their dispute on their way back, the group arrived back at camp.
"Elioooos! where are you?"
Olivia called out when she couldn't see him, or the luggage he was supposed to protect.
"I'm here Olivia!"
Elios waved at Olivia from the front door of an empty house, smiling brightly at Olivia. Jun rolled his eyes at the scene before whispering to Ren.
"I thought maybe a mutant finally ate that guy, but I guess assholes taste bad."
Snickering, the two brothers made their way towards the empty house with the group.
