ADDA HOPPED jiggly from one foot to the other, making her hair swish from side to side. It was fun, she found joy in her long hair on bright days like that one, yet it had started to annoy her. Perhaps it was time to cut it again.
“How weird”.
She thought. Usually she was the one battling against her mum to cut it. Yet, now that she could stop thinking about her all the time, Adda felt odd, a bit lost even. But it was better than before so she didn’t give it much of a thought. There were things more important ahead of the road.
After a long walk, Adda finally slowed her pace and started to pay more attention to her surroundings. She started to take studious glances at the dark brown brick buildings on her side of the street. They all looked very similar and she started to fray at the seems that she wasn’t going to be able to find her girlfriend’s apartment.
Adda took a deep breath and looked at her phone to recall the direction. It was the next flat down the road.
