IT WAS a Monday. It should have been a better Monday, one with Tania by her side. Instead, Adda found herself flooded with books, notes and extremely annoying roarings from his little brother, who had decided playing in his room wasn't fun enough.

No matter how many times she had tried to explain to her mum there was no school that day, the mother had insisted on "pretending the room is the classroom" and Adda wasn't allowed to leave until ten o’clock for her pause.

Feeling drenched, the girl turned the page and stared at the underlined text.

The door creaked slightly as the pommel rotated, allowing a familiar face to trespass.

"Adda, you have a call. Go to the living room to talk."
