A few days passed, Ocean no longer used the wheelchair so she decided to go out with her counterpart for a walk. They walked together calmly until they reached the museum but noticed that there were many people nearby, there was a protest outside the place.
"They can't close this place," they said.
They approached to listen and apparently they wanted to close the museum due to what happened a few days ago.
"Are they really going to close it just because of a small fire?" Ocean asked herself.
Before Fire Ocean could comment on the matter, two armored and tinted vans arrived at the scene. Agents dressed in suits got out of them along with soldiers in black clothing, who ordered the protesters to leave.
"Hey, we better go," Ocean said, being sensible.
"It's okay but I can't walk very fast, can you help me?"
"Sure, let 's go."
They both returned the way they came but at a slow pace, once away from the noise of the protest, Ocean noticed that someone was following them.
"Damn," she thought as she surreptitiously took her mouth.
"It's strange to walk again, I feel like a baby just learning," she laughed genuinely.
"Yes, true," she said without paying much attention since she was attentive to those who followed them.
Suddenly the sound of a motorcycle engine caught their attention, it was coming at high speed towards them and behind it was one of the black vans that were in the museum. However, when the motorcyclist passed by, she thought they were being followed but perhaps they were following the man on the motorcycle so she felt relieved.
She sighed, believing that everything was in order until the man on the motorcycle stopped suddenly and took out a gun with which he pointed it at the Ocean of that dimension. From one second to the next, a sleeping dart embedded itself in Ocean's arm, making her close her eyes.
The truck stopped in front of them and the Fire Ocean, without thinking, quickly loaded her double and began to run away from there, however, the truck and the motorcycle increased their speed.
"Young Shun, who is responsible?" asked the truck driver.
"The tallest one, I shot the invalid one with the intention of testing the other one," the boy on the motorcycle responded using the radio.
"We must prevent her from running towards a place with people."
"Don't worry, she won't go there, she'll look for a far away place, trust me," he said with an evil smile on his face.
Ocean wanted to go faster and find a place to hide her double but she also didn't want to attract attention. That chase reminded her of all the times she had to flee from people who wanted to hurt her and she couldn't use her powers to defend herself in that dimension or she would be in trouble.
As she advanced, sparks discreetly emanated from her fingers, which she manipulated so that they would reach the city's wiring and another incident related to the fire would occur, in this way she would draw the attention of others without having to give herself away, thus she would have the advantage over the pursuers.
Said and done, the cables caught fire and it didn't take long for the firefighters to appear. She needed more distractions so she blew up a gas station, making sure that no one was nearby so as not to put other people's lives at risk.
Ocean needed to go faster since they were catching up with her, then a gust of wind caressed her skin, which made her think of Evander. She wanted him to be there, however, it was a simple burst due to natural causes, so she still decided to use it in her favor and she let herself be carried away by it.
Both bodies seemed to be floating, the sniper on the motorcycle fired but didn't even hit Ocean, if those darts hit her it would be the end of her.
The wind took her to a dead end, very far from the houses and she had no choice but to stop still with the other Ocean in her arms.
"Why are they chasing us?" She asked.
The van stopped and three armed men got out. The one on the motorcycle also stopped and began walking towards it along with the other men. They stopped a few meters from her and pointed their weapons. Ocean lowered her double to lay her on the asphalt of the street and then looked at them, one of the men shot quickly towards the sleeping Ocean's leg but using her fire she was able to burn the bullet.
They really wanted to hurt her, they wanted to leave her without walking again. Ocean was enraged by the audacity of that guy and completely burned him by jumping on him and touching his head with her fingertips.
Without saying anything, she set her body on fire, leaving more than one man there surprised, who opened fire with their silenced weapons. She was able to stop them all by creating a barrier of fire that would prevent their passage.
More upset than anything at not being able to fully exploit her power, she warned them to stay away for her own good, but upon hearing the mockery of the remaining men, she did not limit herself. The barrier of fire diminished as she brought her hands to her forehead, which only meant one thing.
"Infinite fire loop," she pronounced with flames in her eyes.
The men saw the fire approaching them and enveloping them to completely take over their bodies but something really unexpected and inexplicable to her happened.
The sniper on the motorcycle emanated enough water from one of his arms to prevent the loop of fire from reaching him.
"What the hell is that power?" he asked as he saw the fire approaching at extreme speed.
Ocean looked at him surprised, she only knew one entity capable of producing water, Ayden.
She approached at full speed to attack with all her strength, not caring if she burned herself with her own fire, she would get rid of that boy with all the consequences.
A hand-to-hand fight broke out between the two, the boy knew how to defend himself, he seemed to be a well-trained soldier, however, Ocean had the advantage since her body was heavier, harder and more resistant, so his human weapons did not harm her, not a scratch.
"Not only is she capable of producing fire, her skin is tough, my knives didn't do anything to her," the boy thought as he faced her.
A dense black smoke began to emerge behind her as if it accompanied her, but it was different from that produced by gunpowder, so it was even more mysterious and the boy could not let his guard down.
He approached Ocean who was on the ground and lifted her slightly, placing a knife at the height of her jugular.
"Cooperate with me and I won't do anything to your twin."
Ocean took a deep breath just to contain her fury but when she saw that the boy tore her double's skin a little she decided to do something about it. With her muscular and indestructible arms she opened the layer of asphalt beneath her, reaching the dirt floor that existed beneath the foundations of the city.
Sparks flew from her fingers and she touched the layer of earth to cause a huge natural disaster in a part of the city. Young Shun saw how a thick lava ran through the city at high speed, Ocean would destroy a large part of the place.
He quickly loaded the dart gun and started shooting in her direction to stop her but she had dodged every one of his attacks. He had no choice but to use water to slow her down a little so when she got closer, water emanated from him.
"How can you do that? Is this a trick?" She asked, annoyed, imagining that it could be a recreation of Ayden's power.
Shun did not respond, he simply attacked her even knowing that his attempts were useless against someone like her. Just when he thought all was lost, Ocean felt a pain running from her spine to her neck, which was able to break her a little.
"Ahhh!" She exclaimed because of the pain.
The sniper took advantage of Ocean's vulnerability and approached, turned her towards him, she could see part of his face, since he was covered by a black mask and after that she saw how the boy put his hand in her mouth to drown her with the water produced from his fingers.
Ocean began to cough once he let go of her but the amount of water that entered her weakened her enough to make him fire a dart at her. She faded little by little, managing to see her double at the other end of the street.
