Jacob's POV:
He knew what 29th of June means to us. He knew it was one of those days in my life when I would be happy, sad as well as frustrated and angry and yet he suggested to have the engagement ceremony that day only. I couldn't manage to process that and kept taking sips from my drink while Enzo shifted to the edge of the couch in restlessness.
"Why – why on 29th of June? We can have the ceremony any other day as well," Enzo suggested.
"No, what day would be better than the 29th of June? My mother loved me with all her heart. She would be more than happy, if I get engaged to the woman I love on 29th June." Neil started and paused before continuing, "What day could be more blessed than my mama's birthday?"
